Quidco Feedback Thread

Plus were not necessarily talking about the legality here. Many will see this as an unethical practice, and on a Quidco feedback thread it's certainly relevant for people to know about. Do you work for Quidco? You seem to jump down the throat of anyone who dares to criticize it.
The problem is, no big business is ethical, despite what they'd like us to believe. There are a few who're trying to be more ethical, but it'll take time. Good for them for giving it a go I say! :T
From my experience of Quidco they have no ethics what-so-ever. They seem quite happy to do as they please, they keep hold of member's cashback even though they say they don't. My Co-op cashback finally made it to received last week. It won't pay into my bank account until the begining of November, so where is it during the four week's between received and paid? I don't have it and since it's been received by Quidco the merchant doesn't have it, so it must, by elimination, be with Quidco. I wonder how much interest Quidco make on £70 over four weeks? Not so much really. But what if 100 people were waiting for that £70? £700 x whatever interest rate Quidco have with their bank = a fair amount. Certainly not an ethical practice.
And yes, we've often asked Torby and his followers if they have some kind of vested interest in Quidco. Shares perhaps? Who knows? Only Torby!
Anyway, anyone fed up with Quidco who'd like a good old moan (without worrying if their posts will be deleted) is welcome to join some of us in this thread: http://forums.moneysavingexpert.com/showthread.html?t=1950575 I've just found an interesting post on another forum regarding Quidco's turnover/profit etc. I'll be posting about it in that thread.

The only problem I have had is with a larger cashback amount of £50 for opening a Child Trust Fund with Engage Mutual.
It tracked on 14 December 2007 and was eventually paid on 30 April 2009!

Are there any ways of finding out the no-spend offers? other then looking through the top merchants overall and weeding them out through trial and error, I am struggling to find more then about 4!0

Quidco has really raised its game this year, you just need to remember to delete your cookies before clicking onto the site you wish to purchase from; I also keep a copy of the 'source' dump on file in case there are problems with payments.0
