    Personally, I would stick with the xbox 360.

    My brother has a ps3 after trading in his xbox and its bog average.

    stream all my media so i dont need big HD's in any console,all wired,already on live and got a ps3 sitting right next to it ;)
    or the difference between the £127 i paid and £250 could have got a BR player too :p

    i tried it but it just wasnt stable enough
    i could do it for some files but the massive ones were just too high bandwidth
    i was already wired but just wanted to see

    I dont use massive file sizes
    Upto approx 8 gig as a max
    6 gig as an average

    yeah i suppose.im thinking of upgrading my network as this pc has gigabit.i tried a massive file the other day (iirc about 16GB!!) and it wouldnt play.
    i only got it to test really

    If I ever have problems I stream to save to hardrive and I can watch whenever I like (I know someone streamed a 23gig filesize to his PS3s harddrive with no problems)
