It is the full version.
One thing I have noticed since re-starting the pc is the updates shield is gradually downloading updates which seems to be a step in the right direction0 -
The error message that comes up says error 1706 setup cannot find the req'd files check your connection to the network
Could this have anything to do with my network connection to my office ?0 -

Morning Guy's,
Had a quick check before I left home this morning, the install updates shield is still there trying to load the same service pack update which fails,
when we try to open excel the M/S office prof with front page message comes up saying the feature you are trying to use is on a cd rom that is not available.
We are however able to open, word access and powerpoint
Any further help would be appreciated0 -
Did Excel ever open without the disc? If not, then the program wasn't fully installed. If it did, something has obviously become corrupted.Northern Ireland club member No 382 :j0

If corruption is indeed the cause of the problem, the only way to fix it would be to acquire a set of installation discs for that specific version of Office. You might be able to remove it with the help of this tool, but then you'd be left without an office suite.
Have you ever considered using OpenOffice.org instead?0 -
