After you've done all this, make sure you go back into Microsoft update and download all of the other recommended updates. This will help to keep your computer secure.
There might be over 100 of them, depending when they were last downloaded. It sounds like it may be quite a while ago if you're only getting Office XP SP3 now!Northern Ireland club member No 382 :j0 -

OK, started up again and found new hardware wizzard message has appeared saying Audio device on high definition audio bus

The updates shield in the taskbar has re-appeared saying it's found 1 update which is what was happening before !0
