I did not ask for it in writing... I will go back tomorrow and ask for the print out of the work they did for me and also ask for a print out of the cracked driveI am determined to lose weight!:kisses3:

So, when new the computer had:
AMD 2800+ processor (downgrade to 1.80Ghz)
80GB Hard drive (!!!!!! happened there - downgrade to 8GB?)
256MB Memory (ok, so that was an upgrade to 1GB - max allowed)

Thing that has confused me, upgrade the RAM, downgrade the processor? !!!!!!?0 -

you have almost certainly been lied to, opening the case and looking at the sticker on the hard drive should prove what you've got. there is no such thing as a 'cracked' hard drive which is why if you can get this in writing.......(see above)0 -

In my reckoning, if your computer was dropped, it just wouldn't turn on again. The hard drive would be knackered.Northern Ireland club member No 382 :j0
