I'll be watching this thread, I also took a policy out in September, I have all my receipts now and forms filled in ready to post on the 1st of March, and then I beleive I have to wait 30 days, the only way to get this is to write it on a calender so I wouldn't forget the receipts and when to post, it had better work is all I'm saying cos I wouldn't have taken the policy out either.0

Oh my God! I fell for this con aswell. I took out car insurance with them in October, my £55 is still at validated on Quidco and isn't moving. I think I might query that soon and despite 4 phone calls to Hastings Direct, my fuel vouchers have not appeared. I'm now drafting a letter.
What can we do about this? It's false advertising for one thing to make statements about what you will get with a policy and then not fulfill it. Grrrr :mad::mad:

I've just drafted a rather firm letter to Hastings Direct. I mentioned that upon reading a popular money saving online forum I have learnt that I am not the only customer of their's experiencing issues receiving their fuel vouchers. I also mentioned that if they're failing to fulfill a promise they made in their advertising, it could be classed as false or deceptive advertising. I'm hoping to put the carp into them a bit.

Slightly different to your problems, but a few years ago I took out a policy with Hastings Direct, and then decided to cancel it within the cooling off time, and returned all the documents immediately.
They took all the money from my card, for the whole year and claimed to never have received the documents I returned.
I argued and argued but to no avail, so I put it down to experience and stayed cancelled anyway, as not impressed with their customer service.
Anyway, about 3 months later , all the documents were returned back to me, as refused!! which explained why they had never got them anyway!!
It has put me right off them, and I did see the above offer and briefly consider it, I am just so glad I didn't now!
I don't think I would have liked being ripped off twice by them, I do hope you all get your vouchers back that you are due.0 -

Had forgotten all about the fuel vouchers but they arrived today.
I've understood it a little different to the rest of you in that I need to send my Feb receipt off between 1-14 March and then my March receipt between 1-14 April, trouble is my third receipt would need to be sent off between 1-14 May which is after the offer closes.
I've jsut sent them an email so will await a reply.
Ah re-reading it you're all right, I need to collect all three recepits before I send them off, I'll have to see if I can find one for January so that I can send all three off 1-14 April (I usually throw them on my poor car's floor)

You're still doing better than me. Four emails completely ignored, three phone calls that have got me nowhere so far. Still no sign of the fuel vouchers or the quidco cashback. Trouble is unless you keep your old petrol receipts then you won't be able to get the three successive monthly claims in by the closing date therefore no money anyway :mad:"You've been reading SOS when it's just your clock reading 5:05 "0
