You made me laugh Dragon - you've put my name as 'spagzbunny' which makes me sound like a nice rabbit and spaghetti dish - mmmmmm

Not so odd, :o rabbit isn't uncommon in pasta sauces, seen it on lots of Italian menus. They eat a lot more rabbit than we do. Its a nice meat, but I hate the way its presented at the butchers in Itay, put me right off it. I like rabbit stew though. Its quite a good meat, but high in cholesterol.

The medical profession is the reason I semi-starve myself! they kept telling me I was over eating ad I had to cut down :o, I was a good Dragon and did as I was told, and every month I would be told to cut down because I was overeating, eventually a Doctor looked at my medical history and my food diary and said that as long as I was on steroids I would find weight loss well nigh impossible , the damage was done though and I now find it hard to eat.

If I do get near the 2,450 amount I do lose weight!

LOL, very similar to me Dragon, in fact, I remember now that we had this in common. I didn't used to eat much anyway (or rather ate at weekends which I'd saved ) and the weight gain initially was cnfusing diagnosis (steroids came later for me). Later when they found out why they were utterly scathing blaming me for not being more forceful with them about my low calorie intake.
  • Afternoony x x x x

Well after WI this morning I am back to September's start weight of 11 st 4 lbs, if I can lose that 4 lbs this month I will be over the moon.

I'm back to calorie count - I did try and do it for a while but then missed a couple of days here and there and ended up abandoning it completely. :( Have downloaded CC toolbar as well so it's always there. I don't feel particularly hungry at the mo so doubt I will even hit 1000 cals today but we will see what happens.

Past couple of days I've been comfort eating a lot, things at home aren't great, OH and me are arguing a lot lately about daft things  but hopefully that is just a blip. I hope so for the sake of my waistline :rotfl::rotfl:

Hello to all new and not so new peeps :hello: hope we all have a lighter month x x

Dragon - good luck with the personal trainer! Boo to doctors, they are so dumb sometimes!! (apart from your OH of course :D)

lostinrates - hope things improve between you and your OH. Mine is quite moody at the mo, think the dark evenings are starting to get to both of us...

Ah but Dr Dragon is not a medical doctor he is a proper doctor! PhD in Chemical Engineering as opposed to medical doctors who claim a title of Dr with their first degree

Both myself and Dr Dragon let rip actually, mentioned that all the previous Doctors had the same information so why was I the one at fault, I did get a very nice apology and a note on the front of my notes to say the weight gain was for medical reasons and that I was working on being anorexic due to medical errors!

  • Nice too see everyone motivated, gives me a much needed boost all I have dealt with this week is sick children, loads of washing and running up and down the stairs! oh and fitting in a bit of work now and then!!
Felt like all I have done is eat lots of salad and pasta though. Winter is drawing in which draws me to bread and stews which is my big downfall.
Keep the positive attitude and laughter keeps me going Thanks dragon xx:o
