Well done to everyone who completed the September challenge, and a warm welcome to all newcomers! (if I forget to put you on the first page list - nag at me until I do :rotfl:, oh and you don't have to put your starting weight down unless you really want to!)

Here goes for another half stone challenge!

Don't think of how much you'd like/need to lose, just focus on losing those 7lbs for October! See, it doesn't seem so bad, does it :D

This is a useful site for tracking your weight, food etc

http://caloriecount.about.com/cc/account/index.php

You set up your own target by inputting weight, height, how active your lifestyle is, and any medical conditions. Then each day you keep a food diary by inputting what you eat, and also an activity log. The site works out your calories for input (food) and output (activity). The idea is that you keep the input between 500 and 1000 cals below the output, but without dropping below the minimum food cals set by the site for your lifestyle etc. And best of all the calorie count site is free!

If you're interested sign up here and lets help each other :T

Remember - It's 2009 and we are doing just fine!!!

Me neither, ;) but we'll get there:)

    1. fwiw I have terrible cravings for chocolate today, chocolate cake in particular, BUT I'm pretty ure its hormonal and its the first real craving I've had in ages, certainly the month I've been posting here. I even considered giving in, going out and buying a small bar of chocolate when I have to go out later anyway. I thought if I nipped ut in the car, instead of walking a could drive to the next village (we have no shops in my nearest village) and pick something up. Then I admitted that would be doubly bad, both consuming something I don't need/don't really want if I ignore the hormones, AND meaning I'd drive a chore I'd normally walk too....so no. I have however comprimised with myself and pencilled in something a little less indulgant, but more indulgant than it might have been for supper. That might be a tuna and mayonnaise sandwich or it maybe a little cheese on toast. so, a little indulgant, but a comprimise with myself.
edit: I don't know why that para cme out numbered :)
