Ending the month on 10st 2lbs, 3lbs lost when I'm supposed to be maintaining weight now
I've just eaten some left over chocolates meant for the trick or treaters.
I never feel hungry, often very full. Going to have to eat chocolate or something to get the energy intake up a bit without stuffing myself

I've not posted much on this thread and October has been a dreadful month for me in terms of weight loss  I'm going to make a big effort in November, so am off to find the new thread. I will weigh in tomorrow (no looking forward to that!) and post my starting weight then.

I only lost 1.6lbs in October (which brings me back to my Sept starting weight), hoping to do better in November!! See you all on the other thread...

I know, its ridiculous. I think the situation illustrates how new habits, avoiding high calorie but low in nutrition and not "filling" foods make it a lot easier for *most* people to loose weight and not really notice that much your doing it.

My mother could not manage the size of Spaghetti Bolognaise portion I serve for myself and wife, yet she is the one struggling to loose weight and I'm still loosing it.
I know what her problem is, partly age and a thyroid thats not 100% but also small breakfast (porridge), lots of sugary fruit in the day and by 9pm reaching for cheese and biscuits because she's hungry. She's not managing her appetite and blood sugar levels and then hitting the high calorie cheese late in the day. I think she needs to move some calorie intake to earlier in the day and have a bigger breakfast.

FutureSelf (www_futureself_co_uk) is a food diary/calorie counter which I've found really easy to use and is also free (at least for now). I have had a lot of success with it losing well over two stone and I'm now 12st 2lb.

    Has anyone else used this?
