  • Hello!

I know I'm a little late but would love to join your monthly challenges:j

I followed Tara from the Weight Watchers challenge thread:D
I have been on WW since May 12th this year and so far have lost 3stone 2lb, however my weightloss is very erratic, I would love to lose 7lb every month.

My starting weight in May was 310lbs shhhhhhhhhh! I am now at 266 and my longterm goal is 169 so lots to go:rolleyes:

Anyway I weigh-in on a Tuesday evening and this week I lost 3.5lb.

You`ve done brilliantly so far, ditching all that poundage and I`m sure the Dragon will welcome you onboard.
You should have loads of tips for all us losers.
  • hi everyone:D I gained 1.6lbs this week!! not a happy chappy at all! However I have got a new job! well almost just waiting on the refrence but 90%! My new job will be much more sociable 9-5 type working hours (no more 12 hour shifts, yeah!) and will involve walking! fingers crossed my ref is okay ....

    Hello! :hello:

Well done to losers! Pleased to report that I've managed to stay really on track, feeling so much better for it too!

Anyone have any interesting suggestions for low cal soft drinks?
My habit is to flop down at the end of the night after work (finish work late) with a glass of wine or (or 2 or 3 :o), so trying to treat myself to a nice soft drink instead of being tempted by nibbles. My preference is for not-too-sweet drinks.

Have found Old Jamaica ginger 'beer' light in Tescos, which is sweetish but has a nice fiery kick! Also having low cal lime cordial with fizzy water. Any other ideas? Trying to keep off fruit juices if poss. Fizzy flavoured waters I like to tend to find them very sweet, suppose I could dilute them more with fizzy water. What do you like?

    Have a good week all!

Fizzy water is my con of choice. :o It fizzes like a G and T. But it is bad for the teeth, nd can bloat.

Really, I just neck water. You could put a sprig of mint in to water, or the lime cordial, to add a little je ne sais quoi. :)

Good vibe here this morning :)

Well I didn't see this coming:
Last week a bit cautious about increasing calorie intake keeping it a little under target because I knew I was going to be away for the weekend.
Modest sized cooked breakfasts, meal at a resturant, 3 glasses of wine, treated byself to apple pie and custard. Next day Sunday lunch, roast dinner, a beer and thought I'd better skip a desert to not go over the top.
Sunday evening on the scales and it's 10st 4lbs, another 1lb lost over the 10st 5lbs-6lbs I'm supposed to be maintaining now
I need to be a bit braver and eat a little bit more. Worried about diving for chocolate etc. as I it might create a habit that would need will power to break.
Thing is I feel in a nice spot between hungry and "stuffed" so some of the time I'm not getting "hungry signals" at 4pm when I have a bannana now as part of my extra intake.
Just bought some higher calorie soups this week, that shuld help.

Well, Im a bit nervous of saying it, but weighed in this morning and another 8 oz down from 2 days back. I think I may even make the hallowed 7lb target for the first time this month :) Do hope so, I see my sister on 24th and Im now over 2 stone lighter than when she last saw me in May. A few more pounds would be even better :)

Oh I treated my self with kiddie sized caramel choc - just two squares (80 calories) oh, it did taste nice. Ive never taken so long in eating a small square of choc in my life, pmsl, like a cow chewing cud.

Im just about to WALK down to our doctors surgery to pick up my tabs. Thats another thing Im trying to do, walk if its up to a mile rather than get in the car.
