    ooh exciting Hethmar! Well done.

I have made an appointment to see a doctor on Friday for a look at these mystery pounds. I'm hoping it means a medication radjustment might be in order. :)

Hi all, sorry I don't post much, well done to all the losers. I have lost 1 lb this week which in itself is a bit of a miracle as I have had lots of wine and am having a tough time personally with family health issues so am prone to binging. Thanks for all the inspiration this thread provides xx

I was in my local sugery yesterday and in the corner they have a machine, which I hadn`t noticed before.
You take off your shoes and stand on it,then press a green button.
It then takes your weight and height.
Then it tells you to put your left wrist into a hole with like a collar round it,where it tightens up and starts to take your blood prussure and pulse rate.
When it`s all done, it prints out the following.
    Weigth
    Height
    Blood pressure (max & min)
    Pulse per min.
The high and low for what is normal weight.
What your Body Mass Index is.
And the normal BMI value`s high and low.

Great piece of equipment which can be used anytime.
You just have to make an allowance for the clothes you`re wearing. (weight-wise)
Does your surgery have one of these?

Hello! Did a sneaky weigh in today and I've lost another 1lb which I am pleased with because .... I have swine flu :(

I'm really miffed off with myself and it and everything. OH was ill and so was I but I refused to believe it was swine flu because I think it's easy to throw the diagnosis around.

Anyways, work made me go home becasue OH had been confirmed oinky and I was ill and then the internet pandemic site confirmed me. I doubting thomas called the GP and she said I have a 'classic case' of swine flu. Joy of joys. On the Tamiflu and currently shaking in bed.

I'm not counting cals until I get better so today I had 2 bread rolls, some cheese, some meat, some fruit and some angel delight. I swing between feeling sick and starving so I'm just eating what I think I can stomach when I'm hungry :( poor me!

WI today, nothing lost, nothing gained still 11-7lb,the plateau continues.

The good thing is from my post above (#194) is that i`m inside the min and max for my BMI and also inside the "normal" min and max weight.
The battle of the bulge goes on.
  • Hi all, well I never got my bike ride  OH didn't get home til around 4pm - by which time it was too late!(tyre's need pumping up and he has the pump in his shed under lock and key!!!!) DD was disapointed too, so not a very good evening followed. Will have to wait til this weekend now I suppose, I seem to spend most of my time waiting for something!! Does anyone else feel they do the same??
Anyway enough of the ranting - cos if I start I won't stop! :p

Weigh in day for me tomorrow - hopefully, cos I've been roped into helping out with a woodland walk at DS's pre-school tomorrow morning, as he is still young and they think that he might not cope well, so having me there might make him cope better. So that means I won't be able to get to the chemist as usual, so might leave it to friday morning. Still the walk should burn off a few calories :D.

Anyway, will post when I have weighed. Have a good day all! xx

Oh dear, went out with eldest son today and he bought us afternoon tea at John Lewis. Actually, my stomach feels very queezy now, Im not use to eating cakes and scones any more.

My bmi is now 28 - which puts me just in overweight rather than the obese bit that I was in :)
