I never used to eat breakfast - now I have a bowl of Alpen with semi skimmed milk and my usual coffee. It really does seem to make a difference re not snacking on stuff.

Couple of weetabix + semi-skimmed milk and now it's colder porridge with 1/3rd semi milk 2/3rds water plus a pot of real coffee. Foundation of my "naughty snack" free day.
Bowl of porridge is huge and keeps me going past 1pm and it's only about 150 calories :)

piratefairy - I don't post my starting weight either but there's no pressure to do so - some do, some don't. I might have done well so far but I am still really fat so don't quite want to own up to it :o

I'm a porridge gal too at the moment. Just tucking into some golden syrup Oatso Simple made with soya milk (which I really should check the cal content on but I think it's somewhere between skimmed and semi-skimmed)
  • Afternoon Loser's - hope that your day is going well so far.

Piratefairy -I didn't post my weight either, but then I though....why? So from then on I alway's state what I am at the beginning of each month. Then, when you see the number (hopefully :D) going down each week/month, It gives you a really good feeling inside, especially when you manage to get under the next stone! :D. So, be brave, take a few deep breath's and delare it - you'll be glad you did - after all it's only a number! I'm definately glad that I did - and I was a real fatty, at 23st 10lbs :o .
It doesn't matter to us on here as we are all in the same boat - but no pressure - only if you feel ready to! :A

Food wise today so far really good, cornflakes for breakfast, twiglets for snack, and cheese and onion potatoe skins and cereal bar for lunch. All washed down with water. Hm Beef stew for tea.

(Weigh-in day for me this month is a thursday)

    xx

Hi everyone! My weigh in is tomorrow so I'll let you know! I did run/ gym every night last week and once on Sunday BUT I can't go today so in the Wed - Wed week I will only have done 4 days of exercise. Still, I think I might have STS but a pound off would be nice!

hethmar - try the chocolate range they do! Same calories and even yummier!!

    I've been Money Tipped!
I'm so frustrated, I know the Dragon will understand this, but I think somethings going wrong agan medically. Been recording diet faithfully, as you guys know, on calorie count, and weight suddenly pooped up, almost back to last months starting weight, put it down to hormonal swing...and waited...then....nothing, no return to lower weight. I'm really very frustrated.

    Anyway, still plugging away :(

Anyone else not at work looking for a way to get moving and energy levels up...I've been turning the radio on and having ten minutes of quite vigorous dancing and leaping about. :) Fun and energising.

    Well done spugzbunny, that's fab!

Nadine, you're making me hungry!! I've had porridge for brekkie, then I have the somewhat bizzare combo of some leftover tomato couscous (part of last night's dinner), a pack of Walkers Baked crisps and a soya yoghurt for lunch and I haven't decided on dinner yet. I have a real longing for toad in the hole and onion gravy but that would be terribly bad so it'll probably be something worthy like chicken and steamed veg.

lostinrates - that must be so frustrating :( Are you due to see the doctor any time soon - perhaps they could help?
