Even fot DH was puffing and hot after our trek. sady the dog ws still full of beans, poor soul had to stay on her lead, lots of deer, bunnies and game birds about. Holding her on the lead turned into a bit of work out in itself after deer appeared out of a copse just a few yards in front of her.
Most importantly wanted to say how chuffed I am for Posh: two pieces of cake should be balanced by a bit of caution, and exercise: you are doing brilliantly!
Arh...thanks lostinrates for your kind words. Doing quite well 2day so far, lots of walking and water, and 'good' food choices. Hope that I can keep it up! Must keep it up!- lol!!:money::money::money::money:

....she's told me to stay out of it, but then my wife has no idea how far I've gone into understanding the whole managing weight issue. "Just because it worked for you...". Well my knowledge may still be pretty limited compared to the proferssionals but it is a bit beyond just "what works for me" (and that little knowledge may be a dangerous thing!)....
for public record, I dothink there are often issues with fmale weight versus male weight loss. Further to the things I spoke to you about privately are (sometimes those adde to and interelated with) normal monthly fluctuationsin hormones and weight. With my PCOS I usually find my periods, in weights wheer I have lost weight, MUCH more painful although ultimately lesspainful when slimmer. This is, I am tol, not an uncommon feature of weightloss and PCOS...along with the carb cravings etc. Unconciously I find myself eating, I believe partly to stave of this weight loss caused added pain. My period added weight is significant. Enough to really depress a person!
That all said its inconsistant: my period caught me totally by surprise last time, (slower weight loss, but no pain at all!)0 -
We all seem to be on a walking kick at the moment - long may it last!
I had a lovely walk round the woodland at work today, it's starting to look and smell really autumnal. Might try and squeeze another one in after work so that I can balance out the glass of wine I'm planning on having tonight0 -
Gosh I'm almost too scared to do a weigh-in this week. I'm also too scared to post a starting weight, as I have serious issues with all things weight-related. Need to battle it though, as it gets me really down.
Have been doing a lot more walking recently, have also been feeling really ill (nauseous all the time, but no idea why) which has affected the amount I've been eating (hardly anything), so in theory I ought to have lost weight, but I assuem it will just have slowed my metabolism. Will have a weigh in when I get home this evenign0 -

piratefairy, I don't give my weight for just the same reason.so long as you are honest with yourself about starting weight, your losses, and a healthy end weight there is no problem here.
Edit: also remember if you have been poorly you might have been dehydrate so you could have gained water weight as your boy hangs on to that, and then you might have a couple of wild swings while you reach a goo hydration balance., Thats what happens to me anyway!0 -
AdrianHi - that's a difficult situation, I feel for you.
Alexnikov, your work surroundings sound lovely!
angelcakes, never mind about sts, it is better than gaining and it will come off eventually.
