I think it may just take time. If you search Rightmove, there are 46 three bedroom properties within a mile of Bridlington station for under £130k.
That's a LOT of property listings that prospective buyers will trawl through. I agree with comments here that you need the photos and full description (including room dimensions in feet - I don't do metres either) need to be on the Rightmove listing page itself, not a click-through to a brochure. There's just too many houses for people to wade through so your page has to grab people quickly.0 -
so if the estate agents wont change the advert do you all think its worth me paying the £95 to upgrade for a month?
Thank you to all posters0 -
The upgraded listings never make any difference to me, but it would seem madness to me to ugrade a listing with so little information on it.Debt January 1st 2018 £96,999.81Met NIM 23/06/2008
Debt September 20th 2022 £2991.68- 96.92% paid off0 -
I personally would change the estate agent. Sack the first one as soon as you can.(AKA HRH_MUngo)

Sorry but you are way too nice for this game. Is that what they are also telling prospective buyers, that the person who deals with your house is on holiday??Do not pay the extra money for pictures on the front page, print out this thread and go into the agency and tell them they are sorting it or you will go elsewhere immediately.
Every single member of the public (=potential buyer) who has posted on this thread has said the same thing and you are being fobbed off. Perhaps you could point out that MSE is an extremely popular website (top ten according to one survey): over 1300 people have read this thread to date and noted that Ullyott and Butler, Bridlington are rubbish: bad bad PR. :rolleyes:Declutterbug-in-progress.⭐️⭐️⭐️ ⭐️⭐️0 -
you seem to feel sorry for your agent! they are saying "sorry, can't sell your house at the moment, it's a bit inconvenient" (what the heck is going on!)
if you don't really want to sell, then carry on as you are. But if you are planning to move then prices are going up, so by the time they can be bothered to work for you, the house you want may cost you more.
I have mixed feelings about premium listings on RM - makes me think people are a bit desperate, but then if there are lots for sale in your area, then it may help you stand out. I am pretty sure that RM charge only once for a premium listing, not by the month. Why not check it out with another agent, just make a call and ask, you don't need to explain!!
The ball is in your court, we have told you what we think, now you need to take charge. You will be paying the agent around £2k, why are you so happy to let them rely on all your efforts?0
