Yes it was the Mobile Rainbow one that was being disscussed last week I asked for the match on Thursday evening and they rang me on Friday afternoon. The person that I dealt with was called Davina Jackson and she was really helpfull. It was her who sent me both the Emails. There was also a carphone Warehouse booklet A5 size sent with my phone telling you how to make the claims for chequebacks, and the adress to send them to. Mine was delivered yesterday.

Orange don't seem keem to keep my business (their disconnections department offered me a worse deal than I could get off their own website as a new customer!!!) so I'm looking to switch to an O2 offer via the CPW price match deal. Has anybody got one of these deals and ported in their number from another network? Was it straightforward? Also - what info did they need for the credit check?

Just looking at their T&C (specific for price match), the redemption address differs from what you were told.

I just replied to the email I received confirming my order, because it did not say exactly what I should be getting back.

The address in the booklet they sent with my phone gives the same address that was in my email in Wednesbury. I will have to call them to clarify it, but at the end of the day if they try to use that to get out of the cash back, I have it in writing on my email.

As a bonus I received a letter from o2 today telling me I have double texts and minutes for 3 months, and 30 days free browsing on the mobile internet via the handset up to 5MB

Having had 2 pricematches from CPW I can now explain the whole process and paper work ..
when ur phone is delivered ,they just sent a paper like bill stating just a part of the offer like mine i.e 12 monhs free as stated above by someone else and the rest of the details are sent out ..i have spoken to many people at the pricr match team and they said we dont send any paper work but we have all the details of the pricematch in our system....Please make sure when Uve received ur order ask the person who did ur price match like in my case D jackson and C cross .. very nice and helpful people ask ur person to send u an email explaing ur pricematch in detail ...
According to one of the person at cpw pricematch team she said " we have all of a sudden got so busy and we are having so many people filling these forms .." and i kept me self quite as its all because of us people reading these heplful forums so thanks alot all the people ..

Well the person dealing with my order is not as helpful, he said there are no standard emails they send to confirm details of the price match, the receipt showing 'web pricematch 12m free' is all I need.
I'm sure that will be fine but an email would have added confidence.

Hope someone can post back which is the right address for sendig cashbacks.
I believe the standard email and the booklet that comes with the order is for normal web or phone purchases, but for price match deals you might need to send bills to the London address instead.

I think its gonna be a case of suck it and see, i have no faith what so ever i will ever receive any cashback, i have no trust in what any of them say,i was told ba an "apparent boss" that they only have 3 e-sales members who deal in price match yet i have heard 3 names on here and none are who dealt with me, i sent a final email to ask for some kind of confirmation as i gave up by phone and have just received one back to say due to high demands, blah, blah, blah, please get in touch by phone:rotfl: :rotfl: i have now given upand will take my chances:rolleyes:

I spoke to a guy called Neil yesterday about a price match, his number is 02088965488.

In the end O2 offered me half price line rental direct, so I went for this rather than having to remember to send forms back to reclaim it.

thanks rad i will call neil but i did speak to someone in esales about internet price matching and was told there would be none until tuesday due to systems being down.
