  • ....digital fax is

    07092870782

be wary, this is not only a digital fax, but a personal number. I have the same, and its quite pricey to call/fax to such a number (all start with 070)
  • It is time for me to claim my price match deal from CPW too. Sorry If I have missed something out. Why you need to fax your bill to 07092870782? Where you get this number from?

I think in the terms and conditions. It said bills need to be sent to The Carphone Warehouse, Price Match Cheque Back Offer, 1 Portal Way, London, W3 6RS

But from their cashback webpage it said claim should be sent to

    Chequebacks
    The Carphone Warehouse
    P.O. BOX 4259
    Wednesbury
    WS10 7WZ

So I'm not sure where should I sent my claim to.

Any advice would be really appreciated.
No reliance should be placed on the above.
  • I rang 020 8896 5400 option 2 (answered within 2 mins), explained I got a price match deal and asked where I should send my claims to. The guy told me the PO Box address.
You might want to call them to see if they are consistent with what they say. Post back to let us know!

I sent mine 1st class recorded last week, i have checked the tracking number on the royal mail web site a few times and it says to check back later :(

I have read other ppl having similar problems with cpw,do royal mail even bother gettings recorded deliveries signed for from this address?
  • I sent it 1st class recorded as well, not showing delivered yet and I don't think it will anyway. Hope it will get processed, if not we can use the recorded slip as proof we sent it on time.
  • Thanks m8 i have already
faxed my bill its easy and quick ..
the fax number which is a bit unusual as it is a number for a digital fax is

    07092870782

    good luck....

Ive also been told that there is a back log of and the maximum time to get the cheque would be 1 month...

I got the number from Cpw redemptions whoose number is 02890576597.

I did mention to them that fax number you have given me looks like a personal number .. but the advisor mentioned it is digital fax service..
so i tried dialling the number from a fax and Yes it did give me fax tone..

And i did send me bill and they received it the next day as it takes a day to update their systems..
I would also like to mention to be 100% on the safe side juss include a small note (letter say all about your numbers and contract details) if any one has ported their number as i have as the bills will not show your orignal number.. and it mite slow down the process...

    good luck
  • Hi,

I tried to get them match the price for the deals I saw on the mobileshop and mobile rainbow, but they say they have stopped price match now. Even the customer service guy said he cant do a 12 months free line rental on a 12 month contracts(on o2).
  • I have just phoned CPW redemptions at 02890576597. They told me to send the claim to

    Redemptions
    PO Box 4311
    DUNSTABLE
    LU6 9BJ

Can anybody confirm which PO Box address, you have sent the claim to.

    Many thanks

  • I've phoned the redemptions no. to check if my claim has been received - told me to call back next week. I asked to confirm the address and she told me PO Box 4259, Wednesbury.

How long does it normally takes for CPW to send out a text confirmation after receiving your claim?

    Sent mine 5 september.

    previous claim (not pricematch):-
    Sent 27th July
    Text r'cvd 6th August
    Cheque raised 17th August
    Cheque dated 30th August
    Received Cheque 1st Sept

I sent my pricematch to Wednesbury address as stated in the email I got when I sign up for the offer.

note: I sent a covering note stating the details of the pricematch. also you gotta let them know if you have ported your number in.

Also - CPW have cut out alot of 12 months offers cause they lost money on them.
