hex great news about the bathroom wall - another bit of progress! You all read people I havent come across - i must be way out of touch - and i dont like chic lit but do quite like period stuff.

Just spent an hour scrubbing the oven glass door to remove about 15yrs worth of grease (not all mine BTW!) That took some doing. Now have some ovenmate on the oven floor now to tackle that.

Just need to work out how to clean the grill element in the top of the oven that is coated so much in grease it sets on fire when I have tried to use it (only tried it twice, I'm not that daft!). Wiped out some more kitchen cupboards and only a few left to do now before the end of the month with the deadline I have set myself to complete.

Bit cream crackered now!

My list for the weekend!
Wipe all the upstairs doors.. both sides!
Mop kitchen floor again
Baking brownies and biscuits
Make soup
Make lasagne
Tidy the garden you lazy moo and get off the lappy!
Wipe out plate cupboard
Have a look at craft supplies
Return to sender post
Oh yes, tackle the ironing

boddy I loved the gardens at Alnwick, but I was really disappointed with the poisons garden, since there was so little variety and so few plants, nothing exotic, except cannabis! But that was in 2005, so maybe they have improved on it since?
