Hiya
Thanks for the link Toots, I read it going 'ewwwwwww'. But I keep my shower nice and clean so I don't think I need to worry too much. I hope you're keeping okay!
Boyfriend forgot the newspaper so haven't done the windows yet, I need to pop down to the shop later to get something for tea so I'll grab one of the really cheap horrible papers then.
I've been reading all of your book reccomendations eagerly, I devour books at a stupidly fast speed, everything from old classics to biographies to chick lit to Andy Mcnab and the like. Recently read the other hand, can't remember the author, it was fascinating though. I only have space to keep the ones I know I'll read again and again (Rebecca, Catch 22, How to Walk in High Heels), and a few that I rescued from my Gran's house when she died (Gone with the Wind and a couple of Austens). When I'm really rich and have a big house I'm going to have a library with floor to ceiling books, and one of those funny ladders that slide along (and someone to dust them all for me). Struggling through a load of french and german lit at the moment for uni, it's hard work!
Oh I did remake the bed and sort the bedside tables before I went to bed, can I have my Bedroom Star please?
Hope you all have a lovely Saturday

I did mean to re-read Trollope's Palliser novels while I was between jobs, but somehow haven't got round to it
Have you read any Angela Thirkells? She 'borrowed' barsetshire, and wrote more books set later on - 1920's - 1960s I think. Nice happy gentle reads. I don't own all of the Trollopes, but worked through the ones I have a few months ago. They will go back on the bookcase for a couple of years now.
Carol22, I want a slidey ladder and a library too. And 26 cats.
DH has plastered a wall in the new bathroom :j, and I have done lots of outside tidying to make room for the log delivery. Need to go and empty fill the DW or there will be no plates for dinner, and I need to hoover up the dog hairs and plaster dust.'If you have a garden and a library, you have everything you need' Marcus Tullius Cicero0 -
right, kitchen light is done, guy couldn't/didn't want to have a go at the washer, so I am going to Starbucks for coffee and a granola bar with my book, and then to Sainsbury's and maybe boots. Starting to feel a bit rough now, haven't stopped all morning!Mum to gorgeous baby boy born Sept 2010:j0
