    Maybe it is just better to go to the Channel Islands or Isle of Mann as they use the same money and you don't need a passport.

    Go somewhere you actually want to go otherwise you may as well stay at home. No point going somewhere just because its easy

    So where with a nice landscape. That is why I think Norway or the mountains in Italy or Austria are nice.

    I don't think I could really pay more than 500 quid.

    Stavanger in Norway i thought was very pretty.Salzburg was wonderful.. on the visit to Austria.
    Cant help with North Italy.

    No problems with flying ??

    Only problem is that Norway is very expensive as is Switzerland
