Not totally - I've been on a ski lift in the Netherlands!

I was talking in general terms - no point going on holiday to Holland if you are after mountains etc - it wouldn't be a long holiday!!:DBetter going off to a country with more mountains and scenery IMO

Which is the cheapest of them?

Again, it depends what you are doing there. Slovenia probably but it isn't the cheap eastern europe country that a lot of people think. It does have the Julian Alps though and is very green.

I can't envisage you going to Slovenia though......you need to combine where you want to go with the best deal you can get, not purely which is the cheapest. See how much the flights are to places you're interested in, then look at accommodation prices for when you want to go. Once you have the cheapest place out of the ones you are interested in seeing then you have a winner. You might be able to find a decent package price depending on where you're going

Thought that the Warsaw Pact finished over 15 years ago
It did, these countries might not be safe compared to Germany or Spain or other Western countries.

I think I would rather stop with Western Europe countries. I think Warsaw Pact countries could be a bit unsafe.

Slovenia is as safe as anywhere ive been. Neither was it a member of the Warsaw pact. (not that that makes any difference)

If you want mountains Phil go to Tibet you could have a yak with the Dalai Lama and put him straight on one or two things.
