With those countries you should be fine. I suppose with Italy you would want to avoid Naples. Part of the fun is experiencing different cultures.

If you take say 300 euro in 5 and 10 euro notes then you will end up with too many notes to keep in your pocket.:beer:0

Maybe it is just me who sees risk where there is little or none.Why would you do that?? Hotels have a safe for anything you want to leave. You shouldn't be carrying that much money that you need to leave it in your room.

So if you went for a couple of weeks you might want to take 200 euro cash, 200 euro Tr. cheques, and 200 euro on a pre paid card.
