It depends, how much do you need spending money on holiday about £1000 for a couple of weeks?

Thanks!Okay, so then what happens? Your insurer agrees to pay and then you have to wait 4 or 5 days for a cheque or travellers cheque to come via airmail?

So you could be left for many days with no clothes or no money.

Phil are you planning some sort of insurance scam to fund you search for love with a nice lady?

You know of all these scams in this country people setting up chip and pin machines to steel your card numbers and pin. So who knows what scams they have going on in other countries. I wouldn't ever use a bank card abroad unless I knew it only had a very small amount on it like 200 quid.

I have used my credit cards and atm cards abroad for years and have never had any trouble with them. You just have to be sensible.

    Yes.

What's a meal out cost now?

you can easy spend 10 to 20 quid for a meal now and so that means you could need 200 quid for 2 weeks food then paying to go into places of interest. I could easily see it coming to £500 quid. So you better take double to be safe.

Depends on where you're going and what you're doing SP. It's like saying how longs a piece of string.

Where are you planning on and what sort of stuff do you wanna get upto?

No, what I am saying is I wouldn't want to end up penniless or without no clothes so how does your insurer stop that from happening.

If you go India it would be really cheap. If you go to Norway it will be expensive. It depends on where you go. Also the pound is quite weak at the moment which means most Countires are more expensive at the moment.
