Will you still get the 50 quid because they've now sent you a 6288 even though the 6280 was faulty.
Yes that was my first question to them. They had no 6280s in at the time so asked if I would accept the 6288 instead. Obviously I will be keeping a lookout in my account just in case.

Just had a call from a guy at three saying my contract's finishing in about 2 months (hooray!), but no matter how hard I tried, he wouldnt give me anything close to the £5 for a year deal I was hoping for, just kept pushing the £15 a month standard new customers deal :( does this mean I just dont spend enough for them to consider giving me the super-cheap renewals to keep me?

The deals are offered to people who inform three they are canceling and are offered the "super deals" in the last 10 days before the contract is ended.

Ease and reliability and connection: usually dont have a signal especially at home. Flashes up emergency only.

Any other problems: This is the third model of this phone I've received in the space of 7 months, crashes constantly to the point that every message that i sent the screen would freeze and I would have to take the battery out and switch phone back on just to send a text! Had a high bill one month as 3 changed my price plan by mistake cut it after 6 months but my contract stated 12 months for 2000 texts 1000 thereafter. Had no compensation for their mistake and ended up behind in payment for two months. Very irate customer serv reps. Had one call demanding payment to be made that day, informed them I couldnt pay until end of week when I was paid (they called on tuesday) and the snotty woman replied *what?! another three days! come on!* My contract is up in december and I will never go back.
