I cannot agree more with the above post. I have just left 3 after 18 months of poor service, their customer service is in a word crap along with their coverage. I have just signed back with Vodafone which in my opinion are one of the best around.:j

  • Looking to go with 3 on cheepest possible deal. £15 pcm which is the best site to go through using Quidco and any ideas on best phone to choose on this low tariff? Many thanks, new to all of this as always had pay as you go. Also tariffs are very confusing not sure if any of these contracts offer MSN through this tariff even though the phone is adequately capable at doing so. One of the phones I was looking at was Nokia 6120 with 250 mins and 50 texts. Many many thanks for all help received... :o)

If you haven't experienced the delights of 3 I should think very seriously. THey might appear cheap but may not be in the long run if they drive you insane! I've been with t mob and 0range and found their customer service INFINITELY superior!!!
  • Thanks "Crying over spilt milk", I think I will give 3 a miss and try Virgin instead. As I'm already a user for broadband I have read on an ealier thread that someone was offered 300 mins and 300 texts for only £10 although this is a sim only deal I thought it was a good deal as you are not tied in for 18 months. Thanks again :o)

I disagree. You will find loads of people complaining about every network if you do a search, and you will find a lot of people happy with Three on this thread. It's pot luck, and I really don't think you should be swayed either way by a small sample of people on here.

Just by way of balance, I had a dreadful time from Virgin because I bought a Virgin-branded phone from eBay which they refused to accept was one of theirs because its IMEI wasn't in their database (nothing to do with eBay). I spent a whole morning on the phone to them and even had to resort to the phone manufacturer (Sendo - in the UK - sadly no more!) to give them a kick in order for them to see sense. So, as I say, pot luck. They all spend the absolute minimum they can on customer service to give you cheap phone deals.

Some have poor experiences some have good, it's a fact of life.
I've found their CS to be very polite and helpful, the coverage is excellent and the deal when going through Quidco and recommend a mate superb:D
£7 pm instead of £15 on one contract and £14 instead of £20 on the other.

Care to tell how you got £7pm instead of £15?

    18 months x £15 contract = £270 -
    2 x £30 recommend a friend coz I recommended myself -
    £32.50 cashback Quidco -
£50 cashback for getting the Nokia 6280 refurb (rubbish phone but just wanted the contract anyway) as it was faulty on delivery got a brand new Nokia 6288 immediately which is a decent phone:beer:

    £270 - £60 - £32.50 - £50 = £127.50 divide by 18 months = £7.08 p/m;)

Will you still get the 50 quid because they've now sent you a 6288 even though the 6280 was faulty.
