I have been with "3" for less than a week but have been impressed so far. Good phone good signal good customer service (when you get over the language problem) and the website support aint too bad either.
Edit: ...and the price is superb!Jertzy x0 -
I took on a 3 mobile contract just before Christmas - like a lot of people it seems, I had problems - dropped calls, lousy handset battery life and poor network connection. In addition, imagine my horror at finding out that my LG 8120 is hands-down the biggest emitter of electromagnetic radiation of any currently available phone. Didn't fancy that in my trouser pocket!
Life has got a lot easier since I bought a PAYG Motorola C975 and used it with my contract SIM card. I paid £39.99 at phones 4 U which is pretty standard whichever seller you choose to grace with your custom, (although some places will only do that price with your old phone as trade-in.) The catch is you have to buy £15 worth of credit too, no use if you already have a contract. However, since then, massively improved connection and battery life, and far fewer dropped calls - what price peace of mind...0 -
i hate 3 cause u can only get it on contract and u hav 2 use the credit within a month and the minumin top up is £15 so thats y i hate it :money:DaZzA!0

finally took the plunge two weeks in no dropped calls or any probles,,, took the nokia 7600 on 10 months free and two months at £30.00 500 mins 100 texts, cancelled my singlepoint/voda contract phoned voda today said I wanted to port my Voda number to p.a.y.g sim card I had purchased(didn't want to loose my nice number) and was told not to worry they would just change my singlepoint sim over on 5th April to P.a.y.g. so don't even have to worry about swopping numbers, so all in all happy bunny so far :ja please & thank you is all it takes :wave:0

It's been and gone but you really didn't miss much.
Just that awful presenter pretending to be James Bond 3  ....
.... and failing at any attempt at humour.
I remember why I stopped watching the programme nowbut imo, it didn't take peoples' problems seriously.

Hi
I have recently joined 3 on the NEC e616 offer and although I got the chinese version of the phone the c616 all seems to be working fine. Coverage good, battery life rubbish but overall very happy at the price paid and the minutes received.
However I assumed that if you had inclusive minutes voicemail would be deducted from these minutes and only charged when you ran out of inclusive minutes.
I posed this question to 3 customer services by e-mail and received the following response
"Thank you for your email.
Calling our customer service department is free to call from your handset
but if you were to dial 08707 330333 from another phone is charged at
national rate. Calls to voicemail are charged separately from your inclusive
minutes and there are no like for like difference from the Nec c616 and the
e616."
Having spoken to a couple of 3 users they say they haven't been charged for voicemail, I phoned 3 customer services (333) who stated that they are included in the inclusive minutes!!!!!
Can anyone shed some light as to whether the calls to voicemail are included in the inclusive minutes???
Thanks in advanceWhat goes around - comes around
give lots and you will always recieve lots0 -
Can anyone confirm the recent 3 deal around around on Motorola NWL14D actually equates to £4.99 for 500 minutes anytime a month as long as cashbacks are claimed at the right moment!!
And that you can cancel contract after 12 months without any penalty clauses
Seems to good to be true
