Your words
1. Why should people work when they can get something for nothing.0 -
That is a wonderful piece of detective work - the massive legal team must be so busy he is asking for help on message boards from strangers.
I cannot claim any credit, I simply passed details onto various people and authorities that I work with and they've got all excited and keep feeding stuff back to me, which I'm posting sporadically here.
I've no idea how they do it (and I dare say if i did know, they ask me not to detail how), but it is the sort of thing that keeps them happy all day long.Anger ruins joy, it steals the goodness of my mind. Forces me to say terrible things. Overcoming anger brings peace of mind, a mind without regret. If I overcome anger, I will be delightful and loved by everyone.0 -

Let us look at what XL are doing. I have Adobe Photoshop CS4 which retails at £600, although I did get it at trade prices.
XL would have to buy at around this price in order to make a backup to send to someone who already owns the disc. That is an awful lot of customers before you even cover the cost of the original purchase; and you have to multiply these costs by the countless hundreds of pieces of software people may want back up from.
Factor in the fact that different software batches have different ranges of serial numbers, and the backup you receive may not even work with your own serial number.
Unless tens of thousands are using this service, I cannot see how this is a sustainable business model.
Anyway, let us wait for Microsoft and Adobe to decide.0 -

Tim has purchased I belive, XL Trading.co.uk, XLTrading.net and also XLNetwork.co.uk
I do believe he did set up XLDS Ltd from home as he was going to run his debt management service in Sheffield... something I am not sure he is still doing.
The Ltd company was struck off in May 2009 for non-compliance with the Companies Act - he may still be trading but either as a sole trader or off the radar.
However, 'Tim', who everyone keeps referring to, does not, nor ever has run, operated or been a Director of XLDS....ever. If we're going to start taking legal action over personal details, then it will be incredibly difficult for 'Tim' to persue such an action as the details being posted do not belong or relate to him.
The initials of the persons who owned XLDS are Mr 'CH', born 1979 and Ms 'DB'.Anger ruins joy, it steals the goodness of my mind. Forces me to say terrible things. Overcoming anger brings peace of mind, a mind without regret. If I overcome anger, I will be delightful and loved by everyone.0 -

The plot thickens....
& one address hasnt changed hands for 5 years & there is no record of the other one changing hands in the land registry records that are available on line.
Living with mummy & trading out of bedroom is the only likely possibility in my opinion.
Either way Timmy registered the websites at two different addresses..Not Again0 -

Over an hour later (having skimmed the middle part of this thread), I'm now at the end....
