To be honest, the thread is going nowehere.. its getting the same pointless posts time after time.
We are not pirates
We know the law.
We are not breaking any laws at all.
I really don't want to be explaining again and again, because it is pointless and does not sink in on here.
I think personally, I will call it quits with that because the majority of people really have not got a clue on here and are just repeating what other posters are saying ie: the weird 'wikipedia lawyers' quote for some reason
So, goodnight from me - best wishes to all and we will have our solicitor have the thread closed shortly as we have the business address for the forum itself which is a Ltd company no less.
Nice talking and arguing with you all
XL
A company is a company whether it is Limited or not.
You have a company & you seem to be a complete fool who is unaware of how "company" law applies to you.
You have proven yourself to be a fool with no idea how to run a business.
By the way "ltd" means "limited liability" which you have not got.
You are "solely" liable. Nothing to hide behind when you break "company" law.Not Again0 -
Says it all really.
We thought this guy was stupid before - he's just proved it. Hasn't posted all night as he is watching the football.
Thats your typical Man Utd fan for you. Brain dead. At least we know now he doesn't come from Manchester0 -
Hilarious thread.... if anyone has said anything to convince me this company is dodgy as hell it is XL Trading himself.....
The constant threats, the arrogance, the refusal to give any information on the products or answer questions....
Wasn't there a deal a while back where you could buy a "pay once, watch forever" sky box and you got three months free subscription to sky world....
I'm wondering if its something to do with that.
Your on the right track
Pay £20 for a Sky Freeview Card with Sky World Package for 3 months free.
They then flog it on for £40, they even have the balls to say its because of Sky becoming greedy. Oh the joy of hypocrisy.
This offer ended 30th Jun but Sky run offers all the time.
"FREE Sky TV for 3 months and £50 of M&S Vouchers
Subscribe to Sky TV and experience the very best Sky TV has to offer - Sky World - absolutely free for 3 months, And receive £50 of M&S Vouchers too. If during your 3 months you decide not to continue with Sky World, simply change your package or cancel and continue to receive freesat from sky with nothing to pay. Whatever option you decide, you'll still receive your M&S vouchers.
Towards the end of your 3 months of Sky World viewing, you'll be send a letter asking what you would like to do. You can continue with our top Sky TV Package, choose your own from as little as £15 month , or return to freesat from Sky and not pay a penny. And as your'e already a freesat from Sky customer , its simple to join, just give us a call and within hours you could be watching the best of Sky TV, if after 3 months, you continue to subscribe you could receive Sky broadband base and Sky talk freetime, both with no monthly fee.

This is without doubt a legendary thread it will go down in history just like XL Trading will0

Know the law you dont know the law please so me where you can sell backups and use a get out saying "for a backup purpose only You MUST own the original copy to use our service."
This is rubbish. If you feel you aint breaking the law then you wont mind if all of us report you to FAST.
You might be able to sell chips etc but you cant sell backups you are making money for illegal means, do you pay tax on this? Please feel free to give us your address and I will report it to inland revenue. Know you hide your address for good reason because you know your breaking the law and sooner or later they will catch you

OMG,
Just looked at the site.
Hope you are coining it in cause you're gonna need the cash to defend yourself from FACT.
Can you explain the legality on modification of DVD content? Which you obviously need to do to back up the DVD.0 -
Well having read this entire thread I am once again appalled at the blatant disregard of the forum rules by so called "Fantastically Fervent MoneySaving Super Fans" who have been thanked in excess of 10000 times.
The forum etiquette shown on every page towards the top right hand corner states..
"Pls be nice to all MoneySavers. There's no such thing as a stupid question, and even if you disagree courtesy helps."
How many of you have any respect for this simple request?
Is this, for example, an example of courtesy.....
Now stop talking boll*cks or F OFF until you know the slightest thing about business & how to behave LEGALLY IN IT ?
You ought to be ashamed of yourselves. At least the person you are attacking hasn't sunk to your incredibly low level, it speaks volumes for him and nothing for you [nearly all].
Sky are rightly proud of their very successful and profitable business. They have an extremely secure viewing product. Most of you probably don't know that a big contributor to the failure of ONdigital/ITV Digital was that that their viewing cards could be replicated/copied/forged by anybody with simple instructions and a very small outlay on hardware. I know because I was in their technical department.
Now given Sky's might and success in rigorously keeping their business model secure, consider this... Why on earth would XL Trading still be in business? Sky have pursued many individual Pub Licencees for abuse of Sky Sports. It is now being suggested towards the end of this thread that XL Trading are maybe utilising a legal loophole to make money.
Do any of you notice that Martin proudly notifies all subscribers of loopholes all the time so that we may all benefit?
Now ask yourselves if you haven't been just a tad unfair and abusive towards XL Trading.
To XL Trading, all the best for your continued success.
And no I don't know him/them. I currently pay Sky £17.50/month but have paid much more in the past. I'm in no need of XL Tradings product. Good luck to all who use their/his services.
I actually think that MSE would be happily rid of you abusers of the forums but daren't criticise you for fear of a backlash. But that is just my opinion.
I last posted sometime ago and advised people not to bother replying as I wouldn't even bother reading them. The same applies here.0 -

You last postedThe Post Office provide a specific 0845 type of number for support which is free for customers to call.
XLTime to stop lying to people.
XLMakes you look like a bit of a - breast-
But XLs comments to me which were made first are fine?
I dont expect a reply as you will not be reading replies.
:rolleyes:Not Again0 -
smiler03 are you a wind up merchant this guy is running an illegal business selling pirated software and DVD's how you can welcome that is beyond me
I know about ondigital there main failure was down to paying well over the odds for football but piracy also came into it but that was because they didn't have a secure system
We are entitled to opinion it isnt all one sided I am stating a fact that web site and his business is unlawful and it has been reported to FAST
You can dress it up whatever you want to call it but he is selling pirated stuff I am surprised this thread is still here tbh given that web site is illegal
Please feel to report any of us0 -
Smiler03 your one big joke aren't you with that post above
Haha funny
