(So what were mobiles.co.uk/cpw thinking about to allow these stains to remain, when they could so easily have prevented it?)

You'd have to ask CPW Legal, I couldn't say.

My point is that you say other people are liar's but i have proven more than once that you have lied about having zero ccj's. And the most recent time you have said it (being today) was way after you looked into the CCJ's, as i had pointed them out to you several weeks ago.

    Hiya,

If you remember these were news to me, and I looked into them. The comment above was made about cashback, and we have never been sued for non-payment of a valid claim because we have never not paid a valid claim.

Thanks for your comments, still waiting to see if any other retailer can beat one every 7.5 years though :D

Ok you might have been refering to cashback CCJ's against you but you did not say that. That is why i wrote be careful on what you are saying. As people are looking at everyword.

I wouldnt be so smug about 1 CCJ for every 7.5 years it is actually 1 per year

As Mobiles.co.uk limited has only been trading just over 2 years.

So therefore it would one CCJ a year, and that does not actually sound that great.

Yet again FACT proves you wrong.

But despite this "no comment", you happily "used" the "fact" that you have no ccjs as "evidence" of what a good company you are regarding "cleanly" running your redemption operation:
we run it as cleanly as possible (evidence by zero CCJs against us)...

In truth it is no evidence whatsoever, as having zero CCJs doesn't mean you haven't had legal action taken against you at all!

And to balance your claim of running your redemption "as cleanly as possible", we have Ofcom's thoughts that you don't.

They regard your condition only allowing us 30 days from the date on the required bill as being unfair and have asked you to change it for years. Other cpw companies fell into line.

Not only have you ignored that, you actually have been found to contrive this to now be less than the 30 days, depending on whether you accept mail or not on days 27, 28, 29, or 30 (as bank hols, weekends etc are deducted by you from the 30 days if the deadline happens to fall on any of them!)
  • Oh and by the way you best have a word with someone in your accounts/back office

your annual return is late and there are fines for late payment.

    Next Return Due: 20/08/2009 OVERDUE

Deducted by Royal Mail, not us. And OFCOM haven't once asked us to do anything, but we're changing to 60 days very shortly (and you know this, I've told you before). Thanks for your thoughts.

Deducted by Royal Mail, not us.

Now you try to blame Royal Mail for the way you "manipulate" your ts +cs!

You are the ones who are prepared to deny a claim because you don't accept mail on Saturdays! Should the 29th or 30th day fall on a Saturday you have told us that as you won't accept the mail till monday, then the claim fails.

    How are Royal Mail responsible?

    Hi Paul,
Yes he does it's what he gets paid for ;)
He's not here out of the goodness of his heart ,he is a marketing guy who has Google alert set up so that he can Swoop on posts made on the WWW (His words)
Its not just here he posts its all over and he tries to perform damage limitation exercise which is why he acheives very little at helping people.
Its all smoke and mirrors I'm afraid.

Yeh. But where are all the other mobile phone companies who run their cashback schemes?

My point is the guys on here taking flak while others rip you off and then you cant get hold of them.

Red Herring. Already covered in another thread.

20th August 2009 was the last filing date, 4 days ago?

Hardly a big deal - its normal sometimes accounts are delayed. I was late by over a month with my return for company.

the mobiles.co.uk annual accounts are not due till January next year.

OFCOM haven't once asked us to do anything

Ofcom have asked cahback retailers for years to clean up their unfair ts + cs.

You know that, but have taken a cavalier approach (presumably as up till now it's been a request rathger than a directive).

When first you were asked about this unfair, restrictive window (in reply to your claim to be the fairest online retailer), this was your swashbuckling retort:
As for the 30 day claim window, we feel this is a fair amount of time to put a bill in an envelope and post it off

Even though we all know that no-one actually gets anything like 30 days at all!
