Hiya,
I did check and neither relates to cashback, but as you say I am unable to prove this. Both were rolled over on by CPW legal as not being worth defending but (again, trust me or don't, but this is the case) we'd have won - they were nuisance suits. I'm not going to debate this though, because as you'll admit it's my word vs whatever opinions people have.
Feel free to list CCJs against other mobile retailers... Or even better, those with less than 2 in 15 years trading?
As for calling it a "lie" - I know what those CCJs relate to, you do not - so how can you call me a liar when I say that we have zero CCJs against us in the context of cashback? Harsh, no?

You'd have to ask CPW Legal, I couldn't say.
Regards,
But you DID say! They weren't worth defending, yet they let them go all the way to a legal judgement in court against your company! If it were MY company I wouldn't let that happen - and either you ARE cpw or you AREN'T; which is it? Sorry, already know - whichever suits you at the time!0 -
;24899251]Yeh. But where are all the other mobile phone companies who run their cashback schemes?
My point is the guys on here taking flak while others rip you off and then you cant get hold of them.
Try Mobiles2yourdoor - you won't have to ask such questions if you do!0 -
Well if you know they are so bad - why do you use them?
The point is, since you keep springing up to defend them - do YOU? I use any company where I am able to sue if needbe to get my money, as I have testified previously. However, I am more experienced and astute with theses companies than the vast majority of unsuspecting customers. Those who do not believe my postings can ignore them - I am content that others will take heed and cover themselves appropriately - also as I have said many times previosly, including 2.5 years ago when I warned about E2Save before others realised they had really gone bad.0 -
mobilejunkie is right about mobiles2yourdoor.
As I mentioned in the OP, I had a 12 month contract with them and they were great. Even their customer service was superb, usually replying the next day!
They hardly offer any good deals now though, possibly because most people got their cashbacks!0 -

Simply ranting and raving about yourself does not produce results - if you think I am defending them, then you are wrong. If you dealt with single cases one at a time rather than just going over and over and over and over the same old tired statements - afraid that does not work for me - its getting very boring.0 -

This is what MJ can not see. 12 straight posts in 40 minutes, almost without any intervening posts from anyone else really indicates some sort of fanaticism that is bordering on the unhealthy and causes people, like me, who used to respect his rational advice in the past, to ignore his rantings, just like Arthur, I am afraid.
But he won't see this, of course. And everything he writes about CPW companies in his current style will be diminished as a result. Shame0 -
Wow, what an interesting thread.
I was about to post a similar one asking for comments regarding mobiles.co.uk. For the record I have 2 (cashback) contracts about to come to an end with M2YD, these cashbacks have been paid within 10 days. I've been using cashback deals for many years (had to force payment once via the courts). I've been considering mobiles.co.uk for my next 2 contracts (for me and the wife). I have no issues with following claims guidelines and will use the courts (again) if needed to get my cashback.
While I'm glad of Bens input on these threads I do find his manner oververtly aggressive at times, not really what I'd expect from a company representative. It worries me that mobiles do not seem to answer their calls or reply to emails in a timely fashion.
I have good few weeks before I need to order 2 new phones, I'll be watching these threads and mobiles further posts with a close eye
PS - I've always found MJs and Quetins posts hugely informative0 -

I assume then (since you declined to answer) that you don't have a contract through this lot and therefore are talking from ignorance.0 -

Only by you and one or two others.
Have YOU got a cashback contract with this dealer? My 40 minutes was because I was out all day, back for about 90 minutes then out again - during which time I had lots of references to me. I will not go away because the few dislike what I say. Like Mobiles, there must be 7,000 a week who agree with me and don't post on here!
I reckon my 40 minutes UNPAID is more than fair given that the rep is PAID for his time.0
