So going out of our way to advise customers of the amount of time a cheque takes to arrive (within 58 days of your claim) is a sham?
What is unclear?
Where is your evidence of one single unpaid cashback claim?
Put up, or shut up - simple? As I've said many times, we're here trying to help customers and you're not helping at all.
I asked you to give feedback on our new T&Cs as a show of good faith to yourself even after you spent weeks attacking us, an offer which you turned down.
I've done all I can to try and speak to you about what you seem to believe about our company but if you're not willing to engage then you cannot continue to atack us - because all that will happen is that we will leave MSE (and no doubt you will see this as a victory, even though obviously for the vast, vast majority of MSE users it is a failure, and one you will have caused).
Either speak to me constructively or stop shouting untruths about the company from your pulpit.
Regards,
So now you're allowing yourselves up to 58 days? Changed it again have we? If you think the timescale (which you always claimed was not part of the t&c anyway) doesn't matter, then don't expect your customers to agree.
As to the rest I have answered all of the points many times. You aren;t interested in improving what you do since as far as you're concern3ed you aren't doing anything wrong. Whether you stay on here or go is of no matter to me - unless you do start walking the walk instead of appearing to merely engage in a blatant PR exercise to promote your business. So my "pulpit" will still find me engaged - again, as I have repeatedly warned you.0 -
Why do you consistently spoil your message by going that step beyond?
Whereas you have some some very valid points in (a), (b) and(d) above, possibly even (c), they have not actually done (e), (f) is a matter of dispute between you and you have no case for (g) whatsoever.
If you were to be less vitriolic in your posts, I assure you that they would be much more effective and would be more helpful to MSE members. Remember that in the long run Arthur Scargill was proved right in his predictions about the fate of the Coal Mines, but at the time, no one was prepared to listen because of his way of delivering his message.
Sometimes less is more.
It is not one step anywhere when they repeatedly DO try to shut me up and I HAVE got clear knowledge of unjustified refused claims. It's up to YOu whether you believ it or not; I am not on trial because I am not trying to convince unsuspecting punters to buy my products.
The fact that everyone with half a brain knew at the time that Arthur Scargills' predictions were correct does not mean that he was right. I am definitely not arthur Scargill!0 -
At least Arthur had valid points though, he was just so angry about them (and so right) that he was ridiculed by the establishment as a way to render him ineffective.
The parallels with MJ do not extend this far; he is wrong, biased, unable to prove one single claim of his and unwilling to enter into any discussions that may help customers but would mean he couldn't get up on his soapbox any more. I'd hope people realise this, and to this end I'm really trying to stop getting into pointless circular arguments with his ego - an effort he is deliberately undermining (no pun intended).
From now on this account will not be responding to one single post that isn't a request for help with an issue related to Mobiles.co.uk; so his claims will go uncontested, but still be as wrong (and more damning, unproven).
Regards,
Gosh. Another example of talking and not walking. Just how many times have you said THAT before??
As you agreed on another thread before it was (like most others where you get involved) closed, I am wrong, Silk is wrong, Quentin is wrong - and some more now since then. Oh, yes, and Arthur Scargill was right! DReam on!0 -
I wonder if the Mobiles.co.uk company representative would care to comment on the problem I have been having the last four days.
Last Friday I decided to buy a PAYG Nokia and using their website found the phone I wanted and pressed the BUY IT NOW button. Nothing happened. Tried again and again but still could not order the phone.
Emailed CS who replied next day saying there was a problem with the website that would be resolved "soon".
Tried to order again, twice, on Saturday, same problem.
Tried a few times Sunday, no luck.
After trying to buy twice again on Monday morning, without success, I eventually succeeded in getting the phone in my basket this afternoon.
However, after filling in all the registration details, credit card details etc and pressing the final CONFIRM button, the site then hung up, logged me out and said I must log in again using my USERNAME and PASSWORD.
At no time had I been asked to select in a USERNAME or PASSWORD, so I could not re-log in.
So I don't know if the phone is on order or not!!!

Talking of Arthur, people knew his "predictions" were correct .... they also knew he wasted his time moaning....and made a complete wotisit out of himself.0 -
...............MJ and Quentin, because their false perception is starting to take hold; it is also why we're almost certainly going to close this account and let customers go unhelped, because it's simply too much of a venue for cheap point scoring instead of Customer Service.
They will still post their views, though, whether you are here or not. But being here and dealing sympathetically with genuine complaints, such as the chap whose claim was (not) delivered on a Saturday, or the lady who got her start date wrong, does stand you in good stead. But when you promise, as you did with Silk and others, that someone would contact them and then didn't, then that isn't good.
Stay on the forum - sort out the real issues - then make sure your back up team do what YOU have promised. That is the best antidote to malicious attacks.
I realise you are attempting to be balanced - but I know of of an instance where the customer did NOT "get their start date wrong" and was denied the cliam - and denied again when putting the facts to the company.
The so-called "anecdotal" evidence the rep flippantly dismisses in the case of quick payments by Mobiles2yourdoor is UTTER nonsense. I have now had dozens of contracts for myself and the people I look after with that company and they ALWAYS pay in WELL less than 28 days with ZERO problems at all. I have had less dealings with Mobiles.co.uk but enough to know that I am ALWAYS nearing my NEXT claim two MONTHS after they received my last before I receive my cheque. I do wonder if you personally have any experience of a cashback contract with this company??0 -

They should also have known that he was a liar with his own personal financial interests at stake (which actually were not consistent with those of his members, in actuality).
Have YOU had any cashback contracts with Mobiles.co.uk?0 -

Well if you know they are so bad - why do you use them?0 -
Incorrect. I joined here by choice and I will leave by choice. I'm not a "marketing guy paid to swoop in", I'm someone trying to improve the company and part of this is speaking to your critics or customers who feel let down. I can and will leave when I want to, and could have done at any point from day one; so why did I saty? Because I'm genuinely trying to improve things or because I enjoyed Quentin and MJ's uninformed and biased attacks so much?
Thanks,
Nonsense. Anyone who "attacks" you is "uniformed" and "biased". I am a CUSTOMER and had hoped for an honest and professional set of answers and responses rathetr than repeated attempts to drive me off a site I've spent THOUSANDS OF UNPAID time on helping others. Are you saying you DON'T get PAID for your time on here????0 -
28 days to raise a cheque + 30 days to approve a cashback claim = the much debated 58 days, distorted by MJ as being something it isn't because he believes the time that must pass before a cheque can be stopped and re-issued is somehow part of the T&C-stated 30 days to validate *and send* the cheque.
In this case, we're talking about 28 days before Silk should ask where it is, but the distortion has obviously worked.
Thanks,
I know you don't like FACTS and CLARITY, but MY t&c state that the cehque will be SENT within 28 days of receiving my claim. All else is absolute back-tracking and SPIN (at best!!).
YOU are the "master" of "distortion" and threats.0
