    morning

Can I have a moan? Well I am anyway!

I am so fed up of my dh. He puts things away & then forgets & then blames me. Why I would have his paperwork is beyond me, but mayaswell blame me eh. Also he expects me to be 'perfect'. Thats quite hard to explain tbh & if I carry on I shall cry.

Anyway today I am seeing a childminder. Went out & am working the hours dh said. Now they are not convenient to him so need to change my hours. Of course he WILL NOT be helping me pay for the childminder. To say I am f****d off with him is an understatement.

Not had breakfast yet. Probably be weetabix or shreddies.

Got work later so shall have a late lunch/early dinner combined.

DW on as is the WM. Weather not looking too good so will have to dry the clothes indoors.

PP, yesterday sounded lovely for you, I expect thats why you slept so well hon!

    Take care all

    love Lisa x

EDIT: Childmainder has just called & cancelled this mornings visit, grrrr.

    Morning all,
weather looking a bit dodgy in Kent this morning, where has the sun gone again. I have to see the clinical assesment lady today, and I think I shall be getting some more of those horrible injections in my shoulder again. I had some two years ago and they do work for quite awhile but I hate them as it's like someone sticking a knitting needle in your shoulder. But if it keeps my joints working for a bit longer then i suppse it is good. Then i have to take my youngest to the dentist as she broke her crown off yesterday.i have to go with her as I look after the baby whilst she is in the chair. He is a dear little chap and we have a great time building lego in the surgery.
I must also try to get some more revision in as its only 4 weeks till exams
Hope everyone has a good day

    Good Morning!

Sorry havent read yesterdays thread yet, but from what I can gather its congrats to Catowen man of match?
Edin'lass - sounds like youre having a great time in Florida - I love it too.
Queenie - sausage maker sounds fun!
manicdays - dont put yourself down, im sure you are "perfect" in your own way, as we all are.
Everyone else - hope everyone is doing ok today.

Well went to Nephews communion party, was a nice afternoon, kids played in MIL garden, had some lovely curry n rice, chicken, red snapper (BIL made) yum, followed by some cake n tea! had nice chat to everyone - which is good for me as after suffering with PND I got quite shut off from everyone, but find I am now more my old self again, chatting etc (in my efforts to become more positive/happy person again).

I'm so fed up with being overweight, that today I have started cutting down and have asked DH to go for a run tonight!! Ha ha - Ive got to do something, especially as I will be starting new job soon and i want to buy some new clothes as i cant fit into the old blouses! anyone else dieting here i can obtain morale support from???

    Have a good monday everyone!

    Morning all

Didn't sleep well last night, never do when DH is away. He phoned me to wake me at 6 this morning, then again at 7 as he knew I'd have fallen back to sleep.

So far this morning I've had to deal with 4 spiders, a huge moth, a dead mouse/vole in the kitchen and there's 4 dead birds on the drive waiting to be disposed off......think the cats are missing DH too?

I've been called in to see the Dr this morning - I'm guessing my scan results are back and we'll see what the next step is. Will pop into town whilst I'm out of the village and pick up some bits I forgot to get on Saturday.

    B - Toast
L - DD's have wraps, fruit and chicken satay skewers.
D - Undecided - probably a quick beans on toast.

Just had £48.50 in tesco club card vouchers through - am off to see what I can use them against....still got £15 left from last lot and that was after buying a new bed and mattress in MFI....

Hope you all have a wonderful day.

    ((hugs)) manicdays, I can empathise.

Another broken night here, this time not only due to DD, but also due to DH leaving all the hall lights on and then not coming to bed until 2, when he woke me up fully. He is now grumpy this morning. I do wonder why!

Work today, so not a lot of OS here. One load of washing to do and the infernal ironing! Washing will need to be hung on airer - rain, rain and more rain here!

Tonight I must also do DH's VAT Return as it is due at the end of the month and I am away all next week on a course.

I want to get the paperwork out of the way this evening, as I want to get on with hemming those curtains!

Planted up most of my herb garden yesterday with the "help" of my DD. Just realised that the tender plants were left out last night, so let's hope they didn't get too chilly :(

    B - Herbal Tea
    L - Dunno
    D - Dunno

I have to go to the dentist at lunchtime as my crown has fallen off yet again. This is starting to cost each time it gets re-cemented. Then, I should be going to my pilates class if I can be motivated enough to go.

Oh and I must post my ma's birthday card as it's her birthday tomorrow.

    Morning :D :hello:

Only had a chance to skim yesterday's daily thread as I got home v. late - so sorry if I've missed anybody's earth-shattering news! Had a lovely day yesterday with all the rushing around and singing. Had a lovely restaurant lunch with my Sunday morning choir - as I still had a rehearsal and concert to go, I drank very little alcohol and went for light food choices, but was still a bit drowsy afterwards. Luckily, discovered that there's a bus route which goes directly from the church where I sing in the morning (in central London) to the church where I was singing in the afternoon/evening (in west London), so had a nice relaxing trip between the two instead of having to take 3 different tube trains!

I really prefer not to be out on Sunday afternoons because my body always tells me I ought to be having a nap at that time - but I do love singing in that choir. Best friend's solos went really well (I actually didn't realise how fab he could sound!) I did have to come home the long way via public transport, though, as my friends who normally give me a lift most of the way had not brought their car

Am out at an opera tonight (£10 tickets :D) but after that I am putting myself under strict instructions for a couple of early nights, no alcohol, lots of fruit & veg, etc  or I will be no good to anybody for the rest of the week. Also I may need to book a doctor's appointment - have had a problem with my right ear since Friday, it seems "fogged up" and is doing bizarre things to my hearing. If it doesn't clear up of its own accord within a couple more days, I'll be having it seen to. (Have always had ear problems, ever since I had complications after getting chickenpox when I was 6.)

Queenie - I think you asked yesterday if I managed to stop housemate eating my blueberry mini-muffins? Yes :D He was under strict instructions not to. He even managed to leave me enough of my HM wholemeal loaf so I could have toast yesterday morning (with the yummy orange & brandy marmalade I got from the farmer's market  ). The blueberry muffins went down well at choir tea, but I did have three left over - they are only fairy-cake size, so became this morning's breakfast.

PP - I'm pleased you had a good night, and your OH is such a sweetie, you're ever so lucky to have such a lovely family.

    Breakfast - Blueberry muffins
Lunch - chicken & veg noodles
Dinner - tuna & sweetcorn pasta

    Hope everybody's well

    Rzl xx

Morning all….ahh the life of an invalid getting up late!

Shameful to admit, but yesterday I didn’t achieve anything apart from going over to my house and collecting my computer, oh and having a bath! :rotfl:

Morning to all today, hugs to those who have 2 go 2 w***.

    Aims for today:
    - look at photography coursework and figure out how to take piccies with 1 arm
    - pick an avatar for MSE

Queenie – your sausage maker sounds like a hoot, what fun! That is so cool that u have chickens! I would love 2 have some but I guess my neighbours might not like the noise

Morning Snowyowl – update on my house, now opposite my recent ex, is that I have decided to purchase it, which is a bit scary! However, you might have read my ramblings on the house purchase board to read that the vendor wouldn’t let me in to measure up B4 my operation….EA phoned on Friday to say I could go and measure up, I replied, what with one arm? :rotfl:

Catowen – thanks 4 message J feeling more positive, but only because I received a text from him asking if I was ok – aren’t I pathetic :oI am so jealous that u r getting the fancy dress box out – I used 2 love that as a kid. Have a fun day :D

Hi Essex-girl – good luck with the remortgage – hope u get what u want

JW – u r keeping me inspired with your positive outlook and looking at tasty men. I now wish I had been single when I taught some firemen a few weeks ago!

Hey PP – glad u slept well last night. So glad u had quality time with ur OH last night, U r v. lucky to be loved and cherished so much :)

Manicdays – ((((((hugs)))))) you sound stressed, poor u.

Hi twink – sorry u r feeling down. I used 2 go 2 a speech therapist, out of school and loved it. Made me feel special and it was time I got all to myself with my mum! Hope u feel better as the day progresses.

Hi jackieo – ooh u r brave, good luck with injections. And good luck with revising!

Shez – I’m dieting, u can get moral support from me! Though having one arm means I can’t shuvle food as quickly into my mouth – :rotfl:

Poky – hope scan results r ok. Thinking of u.

r.mac – good luck with exams!!!

Right…I’m off to figure out how to put on tights….

P.S. Sorry typing is a bit rubbish. BTW I’m typing one handed on an ergonomic keyboard and it’s making me go cross-eyed!
