Edinburghlass - are you going to go on Kraken (I bottled it) but DD loved it.

Im so envious have a brill day.

Oh I'm more of a Tea Cups/Its A Small World kind of girl, so no

but pssst I have booked a Behind The Scenes in the Dolphin Nursery that dd doesn't know about so looking forward to seeing her face when we check in for that. ;)

And for those "older" OS'ers, last night at Epcot we watched Davy Jones of Monkees fame strut his stuff and for a 60 year old the guy did good :rotfl:

Thoroughly enjoyed it as did the entire audience, even dd got over her embarrassment and was standing with the rest of us at the end although I don't think she will ever get over me shaking his hand when he came in amongst the audience :D

She doesn't know it yet but in return for her Dolphin Tour today she gets to see Davy Jones again tonight :)

    Morning Guys!

Slept quite well, so am happy:D

WM is on and should be dry enough to hang out. DW needs emptying. Toilet cleaned.

DD's lunchbox all done: Cheese/Marmite sarnie, yogurt, 3 pieces of fruit, HM biccie, l/f crisps and bottle of water. DD had a great time at party and came home stuffed with pizza, ice cream and popcorn:eek:

OH & I had a lovely afternoon together. Went and sat in garden for half an hour but was getting cold, even though I had about 5 layers on:rolleyes: so we came in had a cup of tea and snuggled on sofa with a brilliant film. He did all the roast dinner and was devine. Then spent an hour or so chatting about this and that and I felt "normal"..it was nice! Expressed that I feel guilty all the time about OH & DD doing this and that for me all the time and that it frustrates me so much:mad: He just said that he only does it coz he loves me and DD and we are his priority in life and as long as we are happy...he is:D :D I shed a few tears and said he shouldnt be doing this at 31 and he said whatelse should I be doing?! Anyway, it was a lovely afternoon and we both agreed we need to have days like that more often.

Today, OH has some of his course to do and I may look at the next lot of material for essay...due end of May:eek:   He has a little more painting to do and I have a ton of calls to make.

Breakie: Seeded bread, butter and jam
Lunch:Left Over roast dinner from yesterday
Dinner: Toad In Hole, Mash, Carrots and Sliced beans

Will catch up later. Hugs to all.

    PP

Awwww PP, I am so glad you had a nice afternoon yesterday, you and your OH deserve some quality time.

E'lass, do they let you go on the Tea Cups without a small child in tow? I wanted to go on the Eurodisney version but was too embarrassed to ask, so went on Space Mountain instead

    :T Happy birthday Murtle :T
My first reply was witty and intellectual but I lost it so you got this one instead :D

He looks exactly the same except with grey hair, in common with most of the audience I must add :rotfl:myself included who made the mistake of having a real short hair cut just before leaving and didn't have time to put some colour through it :o
  • Morning all

It's raining here today  WM is on it's 2nd load, with the 1st drying in the TD.

Packed lunches are made, ham sandwiches for DD, and chicken and salad and mayo for DH and I. Dinner tonight will be a raid of the freezer, infact I must get some mince out so it can defrost

Work today, so not much OS to be done.

Had a great weekend away, went out with the girls Sat night and didn't get home till 3.00am  drinks were really cheap (we were on the American Base) about a quid for a bacardi and coke :D Unfortunately we managed to drink ourslves sober  never mind it meant no hangover yesterday :D

(((((hugs))))) to everyone - bye for now
Squares knitted for my throw ~ 90 (yes!!! I have finally finished it :rotfl: )
Squares made for my patchwork quilt ~ 80 (only the "actual" quilting to do now :rotfl:)

    Good morning everyone,

Edinburghlass - glad you are having a lovely time, you must let me know what i should be doing over there when we go!!!!!

Queenie - yes, im a very proud mummy, have his trophies on the tv to show everyone!!!! Hope Silky lays a 'real' egg soon x

Mushy Peas - hope the wrist is feeling better, and you are feeling more positive too x

JW - which supermarket do you goto? I normally bump into old people when i go shopping, a bit of eye candy would be lovely!!!!

Elona - Hope your dad is feeling ok after the weekend, and you are able to take some time for yourself, you deserve it x

    (((((HUGS))))) to everyone.

Well, working today, have 3 little ones here, and its been raining overnight and is now looking very cloudy!!! So that means we will be indoors today, but never mind, i think maybe the dressing up box might come out later, so you can have visions of a large fairy doing the dusting later!!!!!
After yesterdays football tournement i now have a pink back, as i remembered to put our suntan lotion on, but forgot my back!!!! Never mind, its not sore, and hopefully will turn brown in the next day or two, will def remember on Saturday to get some on there tho (next tournement!!!).
Well, need to put the WM and BM on, doing roast lamb tonight for dinner, and still trying to decide whether to cook it in the SC or the oven later!!!!
Right, off to get the packed lunches done, and i must change the fuse in the lecky box, we have no lights downstairs at the moment as the fuse has gone, luckily i know what to do!!!!!
    Have a lovely Monday everyone,
    Take care xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx

    Good morning everyone

E'lass - sounds like you are having a lovely time. Davy Jones, eh? my first love - when I was about 5
    PP - Yay:j a good nights sleep!
    Elona - hope things are ok with your dad;

    Hi to everyone else, too!
Sorry, haven't seen yesterdays posts, so not up to date with all that's going on.

It looks like a nice day here, so the WM will be on soon.
New (well, new to me) BM works brilliantly! It's a MR fastbake, my last one was a hinari - which made atrocious bread, so this is absolutley wonderful!
Oh, and my mum has given me her Kenwood chef, to replace my one which died. She doesn't use it very much, so if she needs it she can ask me to bring it round to her, but otherwise it's here for me to use!:j
Lots of housework needs doing - yesterday I had more washing up than would fit in the d/w. So did I do 2 loads, or wash the rest by hand... or just leave it sitting in the kitchen till morning??? flylady would not be pleased with me.

    Have a good day!:D
