Ahh, but with the 10% margin I just have to get to 2700 :)

See, I'm so obsessed with going outside (as many people have done on here today) that I thought you meant at the seaside! Tee hee, silly me.

Mushypeas - hows the essay going now?

Happy Birthday wishes to all those celebrating today!!!

well - I accepted the new job! couldnt get the sept start i wanted, but to be fair, the company want someone asap, so couldnt expect them to wait that long - anyway, will be starting June, so I have got the rest of this month to get myself together! pay is good, and hours are v.good for me at the moment and the workplace is nice - TBH i know there are alot worse places out there!! I dont think I will get something else that I fancy trying come along (twice) so think its a sign!!

Worst ways - If I dont like it I can leave - I dont have anything else to lose, only maybe some of my time.
Do feel abit like i'm letting the kids down, should be at home with them etc, but its only till 3pm so will be home by 3.30 still plenty of time of be with them, so not doing long hours like i was before - and if I still dont like it I can leave cant I? So I am going to give it a go.

Thanks to all for your comments, much appreciated.

    Evening all.

Hugs to all that need them and birthday wishes where appropriate too.

Was planning on a lazy day today until OH announced just before I was going to get in to the bath that his parents were coming round in a hour - agh! I had a mad rush round the flat, made the bed, tidied the bathroom and lounge and did the pile of washing up that I had been planning to ignore. Did all that and still had time for a quick bath with a Lush Avobath Ballistic. (anyone else tried that one? It's amazing - I smell like sherbet lemons now)!

Anyway, OH's mum and dad really like the flat and didn't seem to notice the hasty tidyup!

Plans for the rest of the evening are folding the washing that's on the airer, then putting the load that's in the washing machine now there to take it's place!

Dinner is sausage casserole from the freezer with either oregano or herbes de provence dumplings.

Hi Shez - Congrats on new job, I hope it works out for you. Think of all the extra pennies you will have :)

Hi sarahmelita - mmmm Lush, one thing I miss about not being in London. I used to love their shower gels. Lucky you treating yourself like that :)

MushyPeas - I don't live anywhere near a Lush either, so when I go I stock up! I have a special savings account for nice things like Lush - I'm going to one this weekend so think it's going to get a bit of a hammering!

Now get back to your essay!

    Hello everyone again

VickyA, I'm really sorry to hear about your granda - it sounds like it was peaceful for him in the end, though you will all undoubtedly miss his colourful character. It sounded like he had a very big personality.

Shez...congrats on the job! You can fit in a lot of playtime in May - and a 3.00 pm finish every day is to be envied. Make sure you enforce it - if meetings are scheduled in the afternoon be sure and tell the chairperson that you must be away at three on the dot. Well, I'm sure it will be fine. As you say, if you really don't like it you can leave. Will you be allowed to take any holiday during the summer? You might be lucky and get a week or even a fortnight off.

MushyPeas...you sound like you've got the worst bit of the essay over you - you're now sailing towards a conclusion. Hope I'm right! The worst bit of essays in my experience is getting them started - once the first third is done then the rest usually seems to flow.

Moggins...you're wearing me out ducks...go and sit down and have a cup of tea, please!

My day has been a waste - I am terrible, have done no study. Simply went out for a walk and got rained on, then did a Sainsbury's run. Have I opened a book today...errr no, other than a bit of reading this morning in bed. I let my kitties out for a little walk - they were happily looking around when a neighbour came and put something in his outside bin. Not a problem, except he looked at my two cats then put his two dogs outside. What a meanie! Poor Ted got chased, and Dylan ran for the back door of the wrong house...he was leaping about five foot in the air trying to get in, so I had to jump (me...jump? ha ha ha!!!) over the fence and rescue him - he was terribly confused and his tail was all fluffed up like Basil Brush's. He does a mohecian (sp?) thing...the hair all the way up his spine stands on end, it's quite funny. So that was the most exciting part of my weekend - yes, that counts for excitement in my life. I need to get out more.

W*** tomorrow, boo hiss...as if you office bunnies are going to forget.
