Makes me feel like he is belittiling (sp?) our marriage.
He probably watched Dr Who on Saturday where the former assistant and current assistant met and sparks flew. :rotfl: They ended up joining forces to take the !!!!!! of of the Doctor.

That sounds just like XDH's OH and me, we sat in the garden tonight taking the pi$$ out of XDH till the cows came home, it was great fun
Poor XDH didn't know where to turn, even DS wouldn't stand up for him

MushyPeas, I'm off to London at the end of May...I lived there for yonks and yonks (15 yonks in fact) and I miss my friends too, so can't wait to get away. I will also stock up in Lush, nearest one to me ATM is 40 miles away, and will also pop into Harrods to buy some fudge (and get a bag hee hee didn't take me long to revert to being a tourist!).

Grandma and (my late) Grandpa were married 60 years without a single argument. Their secret of a successful marriage? He was perfectly happy to be the "strong silent type"(Favourite phrase being "Yes dear"

P.S. Completely understand the practical difficulty with a relative dying over a holiday period. My Grandpa died in 2001, the day after Boxing Day!Operation Get in Shape

I have a really big work deadline on 31st May (the one I had to postpone jury service for), but if you're up for it I will make every possible effort to squeeze you in!Operation Get in Shape

Good morning
Well my thanks button is really back this time.and I do deserve it.
It's pretty cold here this morning, I've had to resort to bed socks and dressing gown. Well I have no w**k atm. I have put in for a few jobs last week so see how they will go. They are all casual jobs. I don't want full time as I will have to organise a lot of the house as DH is building it. I vowed we would never go owner builder again due to sulky fits & tantrums (him, not me):D but hey ho here we are again. It boils down to finance doesn't it. I'd rather go on the brink of divorce than get into debt. :rotfl:
How rude is that - fancy not getting an invite to your coffee afternoon PP & Bargain Rtz.I could have started up my helicopter and left this morning.
Hope your hair cut is nice. Send us a piccy.
Don't worry about the world coming to an end today. It's already tomorrow in Australia.0 -
Well if you're starting up that helicopter you could wait a couple of days and join some of us in Blackpool
And then you wouldn't need a pic of my haircutOperation Get in Shape

You know Moggins, that's probably the most bearable way I've found of shopping at Lush!
i know it should be gorgeous, but I find the scents so overpowering that I very rarely go anywhere near (frequently passed York branch while at uni, and now often happen upon Regent Street and Covent Garden branches). Honestly, I feel like I can't breathe when I'm within 10 yards of a Lush shop doorwayOperation Get in Shape
