I must've missed something somewhere
Do LOVE lush though.
My favourite product is Flying fox. It smells so good you want to taste it
Are you going to explain this to me Moggins?Although I dont think I want to see you lose control :rotfl:
Sometimes it's important to work for that pot of gold...But other times it's essential to take time off and to make sure that your most important decision in the day simply consists of choosing which color to slide down on the rainbow...0 -

LOL Quackers, a few people on the daily thread have been moaning that there is no shop near them so they go mad when they get near one
Just tempting them even further by throwing the online shop in their faces
Actually it's like shopping online with Tesco, you tend to just buy what you want instead of being seduced by smellsOrganised people are just too lazy to look for things

Moggins...they don't deliver to N.Ireland, the rotters! The stuff is nice but not really nice enough to justify an 80 mile round trip to get a bar of soap. It's quite common for retailers to not deliver to N.Ireland, even when they have a shop in Ireland, either north or south - you'd almost think they didn't want our money or something...
Bargain Rzl - I don't see why we shouldn't be able to meet up for a drinkie or three one lunchtime or after w*** during my visit. I'll be over the week of the next bank hol, but leave for Ireland again on the Thursday. It'll be funny witnessing an internet person become 3D, real, walking and talking.
Oh look at the time, gotta catch some Zzzzzs, but will have to take a dash of my special medicine from the green bottle to assist my sleep...am not taking a sleeping tablet tonight, should have taken one about an hour and a half ago, now I'm scared it'll work really well and I'll sleep until noon. But a shake of the green bottle will be OK.
Night night all...b.holiday nearly over boo hoo....

Noooooooooo, that's so awful. DH has to hold me back when I get to the Regents Arcade in Cheltenham. I can smell the Lush shop from the arcade entrance and I head there like a homing pigeonOrganised people are just too lazy to look for things

The Lush products look lovely. Good enough to eat.
Will definatly have to put it on my *must visit* shops next time. Bit pricey but nice for special pampering.
Don't worry about the world coming to an end today. It's already tomorrow in Australia.0 -
The products last a fairly long time Aussielass, so they don't work out too dear in the end.
Except for the bath bombs because I just can't resist chucking a whole one inOrganised people are just too lazy to look for things

Yippee, bloody essay finished, and it is the worst one I have every written
Poop, I winged that last two (63%) but this one I'll be lucky at a pass.
SnowyOwl - glad I made you laugh....yep a motivation essay at the last minute! How rude calling my subject wafflyBut I have previously done a Dip in Business Studies so I can say that! This is my first ever degree in Education. Scarily hard, can't believe they've let me on the course, but I'm loving it. I've got into education later in life and can't wait to have a degree
BTW, very interested in psychology as a future subject to study...but as I'm doing 7 courses at the moment maybe another year. Perhaps this is why I'm tired?
I lived in London for 8 years and miss it v. much, especially Lush, John Lewis, Pret A Manger, Primark, Covent Garden, Richmond Park....need I go on?
Bargain Rzl - you have made me sooo jealous talking about Covent Garden! I used to lurve going to Sofra for lunch, mmmm I miss their humous and olives, yum.
AussieLass - your helicopter made me smileMorning!
Nighty night, sleep well (apart from AL)

- eat home-made lunch (store c challenge chicken in black bean sauce made last night (just before midnight..)
- pay cousin's rent into bank
- drop house letter off at solicitor's to save on stamp

Busy, busy, back at work

Oh MushyPeas, I bet you're not as old as me! I am hoping that (fingers, toes, ankles, eyes crossed) that I'll get into university next year, ie Oct 07. I want to have three or four years off as I am utterly fed up of this w***ing for a living lark. My main concern is that I don't really know what I want to study. I like psychology, sociology and english, and have surprised myself by enjoying my history course - but know I'd have to top any of those up with a masters in a vocational subject afterwards to have a hope of gaining a meaningful job afterwards. I had a career in human resources, and miss it like a hole in the head. I considered being a psychologist but it takes so long to qualify, I'd be going to the graduation ceremony on my free bus pass (well, nearly!).
I guess your mentor didn't get to read your essay today then..??
Regards London...I'm missing the big museums such as the Natural History one, miss the South Bank, miss bumping into celebs (saw loads of them, I really love celeb spotting!), miss the walk along the south bank and the fab views, miss getting lost in a crowds, miss the anominity (typically I got spotted today by our HR manager - I was looked like a bag of sweaty sh*te whilst out walking, I wasn't best pleased...he's interviewing me tomorrow so I have to create a professional image to supercede the purple faced mis-matched tracked suit wearing Mrs Blobby vision he witnessed today), I miss John Lewis too, and Selfridges, and Hyde Park, and the pond in Kensington Park Gardens (used to walk past it twice a day!), ahhhhh why did I leave??? (SnowyOwl is now kicking her own bottom very hard).
Gosh this fermented grape juice is good! I am going off to bed now before I say something embarrassing. Good night all! xxx
