    Afternoon all

((Hugs)) to all who need them.

Moggins, you sound like my OH in disguise. He has been doing similar moving plants and putting in goosberry bushes etc

No unexpected visitot last night. No evidence of droppings either.......

Just nipped mum to Tesco, no bargins to be had either

    No breakfast
Lunch - grab what you can find
Tea - Pork medalions with cheesy sage sauce and sweet potato mash on a bed of spinach.

Very windy here today but I did all washing yesterday so can't utilise it.

Been sneezing all day so looks like the pollen is starting to appear more.

Will be cleaning the BR later when OH takes SS home off now to cook tea.

Just got back from the hospital - Dad does not feel any better after getting four pints of blood- is on antibiotics for a fever and the consultant wants him to have a bone marrow test tomorrow morning.

Cannot go down tomorrow as DD has a medical appointment but will visit on Wednesday with DD who is down for the afternoon fron uni.
May go for a walk to supermarket later to clear my head and see if there are any bargains.

Just noticed the 'THANKS' button is back HURRAH!!!!

Been busy today, well, first thing this morning i was very lazy, and had a lovely bath and read some of my book!!! But after lunch i decided to sort out under the stairs, and it wasnt pretty when i pulled everything out!!!! Anyway, the carpet and skirting boards have been cleaned, and the corner where chicky pigs go to die has been hoovered!!!! Im now in the process of sorting all that was under there, in hope i can get rid of a load of it.
Have also made a lovely curry, with egg fried rice, and it was lovely!!!!

Snowy - forgot to say this morning, but i was lucky last night, the phantom phone caller gave me a miss, so fingers crossed he will again tonight!!!!

Anyway, hope everyone has a lovely evening (good luck with the rest of the gardening Moggins!!!)
    Take care xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx

Edited to add, Elona, sorry your dad isnt feeling any better, hopefully he will have a good night and the doctors will have better news tomorrow (((HUGS)))

    Afternoon.

Its quite nice and sunny here now. I've had a bit of a lazy day. We went to watch Ice Age 2, which was a good laugh. After that, we popped into Meadowhall, and managed to get my 2 nephews birthday presents. It was very quick as we had already worked out we were going to get them outdoor games, so they have a mini-bowling alley, and a mini-golf course. Less clutter for my sister to have in the house, which should please her.

We managed to skip lunch altogether after a late breakfast of bacon sarnies and HM smoothies, so i had a big bag of minstrels at the cinema. I think it has done some crazy things with my blood sugar though, as i've had to have a couple of hours in bed this afternoon.

Pie, mash and veg planned for tea.

Seems a bit of a strange day.

vicky - sorry about your grandad. It wasn't what you wanted, but at least it wasn't an awful way to go. And you managed to see him before it happened. I'm sure your mum appreciates the extra support.

elona - i hope that your dad shows some improvement soon. Try not to worry too much until you get the results back.

moggins - i believe chocolate is very expensive in china, as the chinese people don't really buy it due to eating their own produced sweets, so it sounds like you got a lovely present.

aussielass - what a beautiful view. And no wonder you rave about your DGS. What a little cutie.

I suppose i should make some attempt to do something before the evening disappears. I need to remember to stick on the BM, as we have forgotten for the past 2 weekends so had no bread for work.

I may be back if i'm still trying to put things off.

    Michelle. xx

Second bed dug, raked, planted and fenced off. Sugar snap peas, lambs lettuce, proper lettuce, and onions now in that bed. Just letting DD play in the bath while I rest my aching back.

XDH and his fiancee are now coming round for a barbecue so I don't know if I'm going to get the time to weed the galvanised bath to plant the strawberries in them tonight but at least with them all here I should be able to get the benches moved and a few things put in the places I want them.

Lord knows when DH is going to get the time to iron the uniforms for me.

    Evening all

Elona - sorry to hear there is no improvement on your dad - hope there is some news tomorrow

Moggins - gosh you have been a busy bee today - makes me feel ashamed as I have a sat on my a$$ all day playing Tetris (goes and hangs head in shame)

MushyPeas - stop peaking in at get that essay done - once it is done then you can relax - you must be at 1500 words by now

Made dinner for OH to take to work - chilli and rice - will make him macaroni and cheese in a minute for tomorrow - whilst thinking about what I am going to have

    Off for a surf

    Have a lovely evening all

    Take care
