    Morning all!

I went to bed at 10.30 last night as I was pretty tired, loads of people were off sick at work so I was coping pretty much by myself yesterday! Anyway, I woke up early so here I am - and I have all of next week off! Yippee! Lots of study for me too thoughI have an exam two weeks today and I really need to get my a$$ in gear!

Boyf has really annoyed me though, he called in sick to his job after only 1 week yesterday which really annoyed me so we didnt speak to each other all evening, and he didnt come to bed last night. He came to bed as I woke up this morning, and I asked if he was going to work - he said no. I said 'So have you quit then?', and he said yes. I told him that he was out of order and that it was unfair of him to put me under this stress (re money) again so soon. He said he was going to his parents, I said - good idea. I think you need to get a grip on yourself.

I think we broke up. And I feel fine about it.

Im off to the post office, and to get ready for work - hope you all have a good day!

    Jo xx

Jo-Sorry to hear about your boyfriend(bloody men!), but you deserve someone better than that and to be treated at least half decently. Over the months I have read your posts and your BF has always let you down, youve had to carry him through all the time and personally feel that you would be better off without him...chin up girl!! Study study study:D

WM is now on with first lot of bedding. Having beans on toast for breakie. DW will be put on in a minute and DD has tidied her room:rolleyes: Beds have both been stripped. I need to go up for a bath soon with OH's help as not good on me feet today:o 2 further washloads to do and all should go out on the line as its a beautiful day.

    Hugs

    PP

Well things kicked off last night about our weekend away - we give OH ex a sheet detailing for the next year when we will have the kids - she likes it written down and we have marked next weekend no contact - she has had the sheet for 3 months now but last night she was on the phone shouting and screaming at OH that he had not right going away- she had the kids crying and shouting at him and the eldest who he doesnt see now was calling him a useless f***er in the background - I am really getting sick and fed up with this - we dont have any time to our selves as we have the kids every weekend that OH is off and school holidays - I would never stop this but 1 weekend a year and she goes flippin balistic (sp) ..........rant over.

My friend told me yesterday that her FIL seems to be improving - his bowel is untwisting on its own - so hopefully they will make Blackpool

got a letter from our Bank yesterday to say that they are upgrading all their Basic bank accounts from basic bank card to duo function card which will mean we will have a switch casrd again whoopee they told us it will upgraded in the next 12 months but if we lose or damage our card after 13/6 then the new card will be with Switch....I can see the future -

    Good morning everyone,

Well, off for my weekly blood test this morning, hoping my platelet levels will be higher this week, i havnt had many new bruises so i am quite confident, mind you, it will prob start going down next week, but never mind!!!!
DD actually started the night in her own bed last night but then woke me when she got in with me, and i couldnt get back to sleep. Oh well, i dont have to get up early tomorrow so hope to catch up on some sleep then!!!
Have 3 little ones today, and so far the weather is still lovely out there, so they will be able to play in the garden again, which keeps them happy, and makes my life a lot easier!!!
Not much else planned for today, need to get the BM on for pizza dough for tonights dinner, and i also want to make some rolls for the weekend, DS is at a football tournement on Sunday, so will be taking a picnic, so want the rolls and might make some cake to take as well (YUM!).
Hope everyone has a lovely day
    Take care xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx

:j I am very happy bunny this morning ,changed the venue for the Robbie Williams concert yesterday and instead of sitting on the grass in a hole in the ground at Milton Keynes I am now flying off to Amsterdam on 24th June for two days (concert is on 25th) with my lovely daughter. :j She deserves a nice break away from her little tribe.
She is such a sweetie, and a great mum and works so hard to give the kids a good time so for a change it will be just Tess and I and no children for two days and Robbie Williams and about 60.000 other folk.:j her husband Simon is pleased that she is having a little break and so are the children. They have just got a new puppy, and it's chewing everything in sight.
My eldest is off to Bristol this afternoon as it's West Ham in the F.A.cup tomorrow. Her husband and son have tickets, but her and her daughter will have to watch it in their hotel in Bristol. Nearest hotel they could find available to Cardiff !! Up the Hammers !!
Going to do some revision today and try to catch up on my garden this afternoon as it looks like it's going to be a nice day today.Have a great day everyone

    Morning everyone

Jo - Aaarrggghh why are men so annoying. Just hope whatever happens you are ok.

Smokey - why are mad ex's so annoying! Just don't let it ruin your weekend away. My hubby's ex split with him when their child was a baby. The reason for this was she knew he would have the child every weekend and she could "get her life back". For nearly 7 years he got his son every single weekend. Now he lives with us the mother doesn't see him at all and although I know its for the best sometimes it does grate me that she doesn't do her share and let us have some time together at weekends etc.

Well yesterday my well organised to-do list well apart. Was in morrisons and started feeling really unwell - pains in stomach etc. Thought it was just the heat coz it was absolutely boiling. Just after leaving there had to stop the car and threw up at the side of the road - attractive look! After that felt rotten all day - more pains and more sickness.

Luckily feeling better today. Thank goodness as we are away for the weekend this afternoon.

So today I need to catch up with what needed doing yesterday as I only got the washing and shopping done. Need to go to library and post office. Have a huge bundle of ironing and need to get packed.

Well gotta go as nothing will get done by sitting here!

If I don't get back on today. Hope everyone has a great weekend and I shall catch up on Monday.

    Morning all

jw - (((hugs))) but if you feel OK about the split, then it's the right thing to do. Just make sure you know what you're going to do if he turns up tonight ie he thought it was one night at his parents while "you" cooled down and he thinks everything is OK again.

JackieO - look at you girl, jetsetting off here, there and everywhere all the time :D Good for you and have a lovely time.

I have some startling news folks!! Nelski is more OS than she gives credit for - even she had to sit down and mop her brow with a vinegar soaked cloth when I reminded her of this :D Last night she told me about how easy it is to clean your shower, especially the grout, with a steam cleaner and how she runs a microfibre cloth over it afterwards to shine it up. I kid you not - we've had an impression on this girl. She didn't want me to tell you lot, but I told her that no way was I not going to share that one :rotfl:

So, today I will be mowing the grass and weeding while the sun is out - Mr TM was "too tired" last night and the rain is coming later on. I have a mystery shopping job to do this afternoon when DS2 is at pre-school and Mr TM has a friend coming for the weekend so need to do a tidy up at least. Dusted all downstairs last night and spare room is ready so I'll clean the bathroom and vac round later too.

    B: porridge and prunes
    L: sandwich and/or soup
D: Dunno - maybe spag bol and garlic bread.

Have a great POETS day everyone :T

Platelets are the part of your blood that helps with clotting, so if you cut/bruise yourself, they are the bits that stop you bleeding!!! I have a condition called ITP, which means i dont have many platelets (well, my bone marrow produces platelets, horrible bone marrow biopsy told us that!!!, but my spleen or liver destroys them!!!) Normally, i am fine, i have regular blood tests and hospital visits, but more to keep an eye on me, as really low levels can cause bleeding in the brain (lovely!!!) but i tend to be fine, just lots of bruises. Im having weekly tests at the moment, as we are going to Florida in 4 weeks time, and if my levels are too low, i wont be able to fly, so i might have to go back onto steroids to boost my platelets to enable me to go!!!! I cant stay on steroids all the time, as they have lots of side effects, and they actually dont work very well with me, they boost my levels for the first couple of weeks, but then i guess my body gets used to them and my platelet levels drop again, but hopefully they will be fine for the 2 weeks we are away.
Well, off for this blood test now, and then back for our Dora fix!!!!
    Take care everyone xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx
