PP - just wanted to say, be really careful until you se the dr again. When my mum had iron levels this low she was told to sit down until the next day, and then had an emergency hysterectomy. She was about 32 at the time.

I would hate for anything nasty to happen to you so take it very easy.

I'm still feeling a bit yucky, but i've just told work i will brave it for tomorrow. for one thing i can't be bothered to come up with set work for my class, and as i've got loads of kids on detention tomorrow night (evil me eh interfering with their drinking time) and it would take a lot to reschedule.

I've got an hour and a half till the cats at the vet. I think i might use it to do a bit more work and have a cuppa to wake myself up a bit. Early night for me again i think. If only it were not because of me being so knackered. ;) I said to DH last night, who seems equally knackered, that we are turning into pensioners in our 20s. Except i bet we'll have more energy then than we have now. Roll on the weekend.

Afternoon all, hope you are all enjoying the sunshine.

Had a 2hr lunch break down the pub today at work, and I don't 'do' lunch officially. Bosses idea - it was bliss - apart from all the blinkin wasps!!

Great news about your chook Queenie, do you have a name yet?

Blimey PP, those levels are very very low. I suffer with anaemia, and as a blood donor also, I am very conscious about my HG levels. You cannot donate if less than 12.0. Lowest mine has ever got was immediately after DD2 was born and I was 8.2, borderline Blood Transfusion! I fought tooth and nail not to have one and agreed to masses of Ferrous Furmarate Tablets instead, as I am passionate about donating blood and that would have been the end of my donor days. Take it easy!

Shez, thats the thing I love about Longleat - the giant redferns, you do actually feel like you are in a forest there. Oh I wish I could live there. :o I'll keep a look out for any other Fake Tan special offers, really love this Dove one though.

    Hiya everyone

I've been a busy little bee today - it's taken me 3 attempts to read this thread too :)

Had to run backwards and forwards taking mum to hospital appt, rush to Aldi, home, mystery shopping job, back for mum, took her to Booths (she refuses to use Tesco) took her home where made lunch and sorted some stuff out, back home where moved lots of laundry around, school run, tea etc etc. Upshot is that both my boys have gone to a friends for tea so I am childless until 6.30 :D Which is why I'm managing to post on here uninterrupted :j

I started my 'easy' crochet last night - even the lady on the wool stall said the first row was complicated and told me an easy way round it so I'm 2 1/2 rows in (117 stitches) :D Tonight I'll try and do some more but Mr TM has a friend coming to stay this w/e so need to sort the spare room. Also need to find all the summer clothes I put away in the attic :D (It'll rain tomorrow - you mark my words!)

VickyA - thanks for the reminder - I also got one of 'those letters' this week, and have forgotten to make an appt yet.

Queenie - I don't know anything about chooks, but why was the egg inedible? Was it a mistreated hen you've been given and it just lays shells or something? :) Just curious :D

Ok - have 10 mins before the boys get back - will be productive for that length of time at least. ((hugs)) to all and have a good evening.

    Good Afternoon

Well a non os day for me today, sat in hairdressers for 3 hours having cut and colour and am very pleased with both although it is a bit 'bouffant' at the mom. Had last minute barbeque tonight just to make the most of the weather. I really hope they have got the weekend forcast wrong.
DD finishes her sats tomm and they are going into the park at 11am till the rest of the day to celebrate but has just announced they need to take some food in - oh well sure i can find something in the freezer.

Am def going to have an early night tonight - a bird keeps waking me up in the morning at 5 not with singing (i dont mind that) but with a sort of screeching - am getting loads done but am worn out by 4pm!

Am happy coz spider repellers came today but it does say that when you first plug them in you will see more insects as they are on there way out so think will plug them in saturday as we are out most of the weekend.

    Have a lovely evening

Evening all - I'm officially on holiday until the 24th!! Whooohooooo.:j

Just waiting for tea to cook - shepherds pie made earlier today - we've been for a lovely walk along the beach and a game of football (well - I paddled whilst they played)...was bliss.

Got 4 loads of washing done today and all the ironing is up to date -- I literally have nothing to do tomorrow.....what a nice feeling.

    PP - Take it easy.

    Hugs to all

    Wooohooo!

Left work relatively on time (5:20) - as my boss was not there to give me last minute jobs or make me feel guilty about leaving at a reasonable hour :D - and had a successful bargain-hunting expedition on the way home. Called into the co-op and got 6 bags of filled pasta reduced from £1.99 to 99p but with an existing discount of 98p per 2 bags, so worked out at 50p per bag (1 bag is 2 portions, so along with £1.66 for a jar of pesto, that's 12 packed lunches for 39p each :D) Then went to Tesco for breadmaking ingredients (wholemeal bread flour, yeast, vit C tablets) and while I was there managed to pick up 2 small mushroom burgers reduced from £1.19 to 20p. They are not freezable so will be tonight's dinner, with mash and savoy cabbage.

Had to clear space in the freezer for all that fresh pasta so "rescued" the tail end of my bottle of Bombay Sapphire :D (It's really G&T weather at the mo!)

On the minus side, the TV is playing up (not sure if it's the transmitter or our aerial, but we've had intermittent reception probs for the past few days) and I managed to cut my hand on a tin can while doing the washing up

Hope everybody's having a good evening. Nice to see you TM - I was wondering where you'd got to today :D

    Evening

Been anaemic on and off since having dd 11 years ago. Consultant increased Ferrous sulphate 4 weeks ago to maximum allowed and thats not improving me blood levels, so an iron infusion is what there asking me to have done. My body is not absorbing any iron orally:confused: .....believe me I am fighting tooth and nail to not have an infusion, but dont think I have a choice as its lowering by the week:eek: It must be difficult for them to work out whats best as theres so much for them to consider. I also have a blood clot and am on warfarin, plus lots of other stuff:o

Anyway, enough about the depressing talk:rotfl: nice to see you all so busy and having a lovely day:D

Have the cleaner coming tomorrow and have managed to do about 75% of my essay, so am best pleased;) OH did the downstairs windows and finished the skirting and looks fabulous!!

Will see you in the morning. Hugs to all.
