    Morning Guys

Happy Birthday Martin and Sophiesmum....have a great day!! (((((HUGS)))))

Slept quite well last night with me new tablets:D Still feel like sh*t this morning though:rotfl: oh well.....cant have everything. Thanks for all the lovely comments...they make me feel much better;)

WM is on and WILL be using the TD. Its for the smalls and is raining here, not bad though as I havent used it in ages. Toilet also cleaned. House still clean and tidy. Have SIL here today doing a few jobs around the house.

I really must get on with my next TMA and will do some reading today and start planning it all out:o

DD has another SAT exam today. Her hayfever is bad ATM and is streaming each morning she wakes up. She has also lost 2 weeks pocket money (£5) as her and 2 cousins were making potions the other day and decided to use some of my Clinique moisturising cream (£25) and other Clinique product (£15) to make some witch brew:confused:  .....too much Harry Potter me thinks!!

Id best go and organise DD's scrambled egg and packed lunch box.

Breakie: Scrambled egg/toast and and juice
    Lunch: Soup and Roll
Dinner: Lamb Stew, dumplings and mash

    Have a great day everyone.

    Good morning everyone

Elona: ((((hugs)))) re the situation with your dad.
    Moggins: hope it's going well.
    Well done to Beer2006, too!
PP - just seen that you had a good night's sleep! well done!
Hi to everyone else here, as well!

I did get the conservatory clean yesterday. Guess what was the only effective thing for cleaning the blinds? yes, you got it, stardrops & the microfibre cloth! Even the strange implement that looks like a fluffy tuning fork did nothing but push the dust into odd patterns on the blinds!

DS1 & his fiancee are coming to dinner tonight, so not decided yet what to have. After that, DH & I are off to a concert by a fairly well known Christian song/hymnwriter. I am really looking forward to that, it is free although donations can be given to charity work that he is involved in.

The weather is still a bit yucky at the moment. A week or two back they were telling us we were in drought situation - well, it doen't feel like it right now!

    Have a good day!

    Morning folks!

DD came in again during the night ... bleurgh ... and awake since 6.

So, 1st load of washing on, anyone know what the weather is like out there?

I put my tomatoes outside briefly yesterday .... brought them in rapidly when it started to pour with rain and they fell over. Apparently DH has now staked them, hmmmm.

I have some rhubarb which needs cooking up, so I think I will make an rhubarb and almond cake that I have the recipe for from a Waitrose card as I have all the ingredients for a change.

DD is at pre-school for 2.5hrs this morning, so DH and I have an apptmt at the bank to open a new business account. So, I suppose I ought to put my slap on so as not to scare anyone one with the bags under my eyes this morning :rotfl:

Tonight we have our pensions chappie coming around. So it's a financial day for us today ... might as well reconcile the bank statement as well, LOL.

    B - Cereal
L - No idea - prob cheese sarnie or soup
D - No idea, will root through the freezer later. Maybe something slow cooked - beef or chicken casserole.

    Happy Birthday Martin and Sophiesmum

Really, really wanted a ciggie this morning, trouble is that is the main part of my morning routine, going out in the garden with my coffee.

    Never mind it will go.

    Have a good day everyone.

:bdaycake: HAPPY BIRTHDAY MARTIN AND SOPHIESMUM :bdaycake:

Well done Moggins and Beer, keep up the good work without the devils weed!!!!

Well, a very bad night here, DD came home from school with a head ache yesterday, hadnt eaten much all day, and ended up putting herself to bed at 6 after refusing to eat her dinner (lasagne, one of her favs) She was then sick at 8.30 and 9.30, and spent the night in my bed burning up, tossing and turning, and then waking up at 3.30 for some more medicine. Shes cooled down now, but ive left her up there asleep at the moment, and think i will keep her off school today, just to make sure. Dont think the school will be very happy, as its SATs week, but shes year 3 so it wont affect their results and its tough really, her welfare is more important to me!!!!
Anyway, this prob puts paid to my plans for today, have two little ones here (their mums are still happy for them to be here, ive checked with them!!!) so not sure what we will be doing yet, will play it by ear i think, see what they want to do later. One is here already, and shes playing cooking with DS!!!! Hes a great help with the little ones.
Well, need to put the WM on, hoping it will stay dry after the rain yesterday, so i can get it all out on the line, have 2 loads to do as i left it yesterday, so would prefer not to put it on the airer, and want to get a nice beef stew started in the SC for dinner tonight.
Right, better get started, hope everyone has a lovely day ((((((HUGS))))))) to anyone who wants or needs one,
    Take care xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx

    Hello everybody,

I haven't caught up with yesterday's thread yet so ((((((hugs)))))) to everyone. I've had a very relaxing day yesterday :D28_1_16.gif This was me but our *beach* is a mass of sharp rocks :p with no sand to speak of. I've made up for it today though. 15_8_3.gif

DH has been home today. He can be such a know-it-all sometimes. Had a few words this afternoon but I've proven him wrong again. :D Ahhh when will he learn.

Happy Bithday to the birthday people.
Good luck with the fags Moggins. I did it cold turkey six years ago. 15_4_115.gifI have converted to one of those Nazi ex-smokers now. :D Hope you all have a great day.
Don't worry about the world coming to an end today. It's already tomorrow in Australia. ;)

    Morning all

DH has just left for his 1st day at his new job (looking very dashing - he's used to wearing track pants and a t-shirt, but now he's all suited and booted :rotfl: )

DD has her SATS all this week, so today I'm feeling like a very nervous mummy/wife. Can't wait for the end of the day to find out how they both got on.

WM is on but like P-P it will have to go in the TD as it's raining here

Oh well, better go. Good luck with the ciggies moggins and beer - I've tried and failed countless times :o
Squares knitted for my throw ~ 90 (yes!!! I have finally finished it :rotfl: )
Squares made for my patchwork quilt ~ 80 (only the "actual" quilting to do now :rotfl:)

    morning everyone:wave:

was so tired yesterday that had a shower, collapsed infront of tv to watch baftas, then fell asleep, so have only just caught up with yesterdays thread.

Happy Birthday Martin & Sophiesmum and anyone else!

Frizzhead - yes i love CP's, we went to Elveden, only because it takes an 1hr to get there, but have been to Longleat, which is bigger and better rapids, slides etc! very hilly though, and our villa was along way from center so we had to keep waiting for that little train!!! i would go again but book a nearer villa.

thanks for the info on the Dove, will try that! i find the johnsons ok, but goes abit patchy in places and also washes off quick in the shower??

well todays plans are ironing at some point, pay council tax/water rates bills, exciting eh? have a go at making tomato soup.
Dinner - not sure now, seeing as DS1 doesnt want to eat meat this week - so have to rustle up some veggie ideas for him!

    have a good tuesday all!
