Oh mushy, I'm so sorry to hear that. I hope achieving all your OS goals eases your pain a little and someone soon comes along who appreciates all your efforts.Organised people are just too lazy to look for things

Afternoon everyone.
Aww Mushypeas its horrible when your heart is broken :grouphug:
Went to my parents for a barbeque yesterday which was fab. Came home with a bag of leftovers that I have put in the freezer.
Today we are off to the in laws for dinner  We are not often invited so unsure what the occasion is. God knows what we will get to eat. Last time was potato alphabites, frozen chips, a tortilla wrap and some grated cheese. Oh and an ice lolly for pudding
Very moneysaving - go to someone elses house all weekend to eat
This morning I slept to 8:20 which I never do. Nice to have a bit of a lie in tho'.
Have cleaned the bathroom and kitchen but nothing else really needs doing (except the ironing and that can be put off for another day)
Have great day everyone whatever your plans are :wave:0 -
[QUOTE=Lillibet]well, due to rain hubby & I have cancelled our planned car boot expedition and are instead arguing about what kind of stair gates to get! I want the roller kind, I figure it'll be much easier with Spud & a dog, but hubby is firmly against anything that has to be screwed to the wall & wants those supremely non-robust expand to fit plunger types
[QUOTE]
In my experience these expand to fit ones have caused more damage to the walls/wood that they go against than a couple of small drill holes for the other sort.
I've got mine in argos, around £17 each and really easy to fit, I have them across doorways for work (childminder) and when I've finished for the day they unclip and store away really easily.
Anyway......
Up early, the rain kept me awake most of the night. We'd planned to go off to a boot fair too but after all that rain it just wasn't worth the effort.
Popped to Asda as our digital telly receiver (in built into the telly) has gone belly up, so picked up a cheap digi box.
Tried very hard not to visit the outlet centre next door but failed miserably. DH got 2 pairs of shoes (he's awful at buying shoes so when he found 2 pairs he liked that fitted I just pushed him towards the till) I got a new handbag (I've got a passion for Kipling bags) reduced from £45 to £11....just the right size and colour, I shall be pleased to see the back of my old one as it's falling to bits.
Home to make lunch and get dinner in the SC and relax for the afternoon whilst DH watches GP..I've got 4 pairs of trousers to take up - oh joy!
B - Toast
L - Turkey, salad and mayo on seeded loaf
D - Sausage and baked bean cass. in the SC

(((((((((((((((((hugs MushyPeas)))))))))))))))))))))))))
Don't feel bad about crying, it is normal, natural, and cheaper than therapy so very OS
So far today.
Huge loads of laundry done soooooo do I start the ironing? Or do I escape the crys of "Goooooneeers" echoing round the neighbourhood and take myself off to Spitalfields and check out the Organic Market, the Happy Days Wholesale event and the Paul Smith sample sale.... Now that's a tough oneMy first reply was witty and intellectual but I lost it so you got this one instead

Good afternoon everyone,
Well, lovely morning with DD, went to 2 car boot sales, lovely sunshine here, so was very nice. Picked up loads of cheap books, so should keep me happy for the next couple of weeks, a fairy dressing up set for the childminding box, and DD found a pink furby for a £1, so she was happy too!!!! Went to Tescos and bought some yellow stickered items, including 2 lovely reduced fat chicken salad sandwiches!!! DD is now playing outside in the sunshine, and ive just come in after finally getting out and cutting the grass!!!! Looks a lot better out there now, and as its due to be raining tomorrow, a good job out of the way!!!!
Am now having a little break, before i finish sewing DDs new teddy, ready for her to stuff!!!! She did attempt to do the sewing herself, but gave up very quickly and decided that it was a job for me. I have promised to get it finished today, so better get cracking!!!!!
Take care xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx0 -
How do you convert red playdough into paint? DD has just managed to do it and I have just spent the last 15 minutes trying to clean it off a beige sofa
I've got most of it off but DH is going to go spare when he sees it
