Morning all!
I spent most of the day yesterday out shopping, I got myself a little acer tree and a pot to plant him in (which I haggled down to 50% off because it had a chip on the inside rim), and some underwear for myself from the next clearance store at the total cost of £2.50! I popped into Woolies, TJ Jhughes and Matalan trying to find 18" cushion pads and could I find any?? Not on your life! I was very suprised - I thought I could have bought them easily, so ended up buying them off ebay instead.
I then bought boyf a pair of shoes for work, and then came home and cleaned up. I didnt have an immense amount of energy so I just did a few things.
This morning I woke up to hear the cat playing with the acer tree, she was swiping at it and enjoying herself thoroughly. I came in to the lounge to find a puddle of beer on the carpet which he hadnt cleaned up - It loks like he didnt realise. That has p***ed me off if im honest, im sick and tired of him ruining the house! He's like a bloody child!! Im going to wake him up shortly and he can come and clean it up.
I think ill do the dishes shortly and figure out what to do today, its really nice weather here and dont want to spend the whole day cooped up indoors, although I do have plenty of stuff to be getting on with - like admin, cleaning the bathroom, and getting round to using the sewing machine! Ive also got to do some revision!!!
Anyway, i think ill have another cup of tea first....

:bdaycake: Happy birthday somo1 and iwanttosave - have a great day
Made Dh a lovely tea last night (even if i do say so myself!) of steak (reduced!!! i hasten to add), chips and peas (his fav) followed by strawberries and meringues with cream. Did all my ironing yesterday so i am finally up to date. Got a bit of hoovering to do and just a general tidy up so we are off for a bike ride this afternoon and DD2 has a birthday party at 12.
Got to pop to Tescos later to buy a bottle of port for FIL's birthday and thats it for today i think.
Hope everyone has a nice day

its chucking it down here in peterborough but as all my jobs are inside who cares lol.
spent most of the weekend stripping wallpaper off painting and putting some wallpaper back on.. not all by myself mind you got some great friends.. This is all so we can put the market back on the house after being messed around by a buyer who's dont do anything to the house after i had ripped wallpaper off as he was going to do the house up then asked to drop the price by 10k so told him to take a run and we doing it up as should have done 6 months ago.
now its a rush to get everything done to get it back on the market.. but as i dont need to sell to move its not a problem.
just packed the car up with a load of black bags of wallpaper etc a old rug and going to dump it in a friends skip as its getting picked up tomorrow.
breekie has been toast lunch will be a sandwich and tea well havnt a clue lol

Happy Birthday SOMO1 and Wanty - Hope you both have a lovely day
PP - well done on your bargains again
Catowen n Queenie - I dont drink anything with caffeine in it now - even if I have cola it the caffeine free stuff and like you Catowen I know I wont sleep if I have caffeine .
Good luck to Miss PP and Master Queenie with their SATS exams.
Hugs to everyone
Weather here is miserable - it is raining and doenst look as though it will brighten up. Got the garden tidied yesterday, grass cut and edges trimmed, hut painted and garden furniture washed down - both OH and I hate gardening so next year funds permitting we will be putting down decking and laying slabs - OH is a joiner to trade so it will just be the materials we will have to pay for - we reckon about £1000 so that is next years target.
All washing is done - think I might tackle the ironing today but later as I am feeling a little delicate just now - had a little too much vino de collapso last night
B/l - toast with ham (think the bread is the same as yours PP)
d - beef stir fry with noodles.
have a lovely day all
Take care

Glad Im seeing my consultant tomorrow as Ive had head pains for 2 days now but am sure its where im anaemic and is my monthly ATM:o......when will it end??????????? Really have had enough of it all and feeling abit fed up today...I wont go on about it anymore as I know its not very OS:p
DD had seen a Ted Baker top she liked in her friends catalogue.....£25....for one top:eek:      it is nice, but its a plain white t-shirt with "Ted Baker" written on the frontshe even offered to pay half....so I went too LXDirect found the same one but in a pack of two (1 white and 1 pink) for £28.50 and used a £15 voucher-so got 2 for £13.50 inc postage:D
they will be here tuesday and DD has given me £5 towards them which I have taken off her but will give it back to her next Saturday with her next lot of £2.50 pocket money;) as I wasnt expecting her to contribute but thought it was a kind gesture. Explained that these tops will be for best ONLY!! Cant believe the prices of some of the clothes though....I sound old:rotfl:
Anyway, will catch up later. HUgs to all.

Happy Birthday to SOMO1 and iwanttosave
Good luck to all the littlies doing SATS, my DS is doing them too for some reason?
It's a stunning day here, DH has just gone to work (overtime yehaaaaa) and DS has gone with his dad. I am trying to coax DD out of her frilly skirt and into a pair of jeans so I can take her out in the garden with me. I have to get all the plants in the garden that I bought yesterday.
Does anyone have any recipes for the Marlin steaks I bought reduced from Asda yesterday?Organised people are just too lazy to look for things

1) Stop crying
2) Clean up kicthen, write food list for week
3) Tackle ironing pile
4) Clean bedroom (cluttered house, cluttered mind)
5) Decide whether to buy house opposite now ex-OH
