Morning everyone!
Have a good weekend at Blackpool!
PP - hope you feel better asap
I missed out on yesterdays thread & haven't had a chance for a look yet, so don't know what's happening at the mo.
Yesterday I went to the Next outlet & got some summer shoes for £5, not bad.
We got home ed. group today, although DS is staying with friend overnight in Suffolk, so will meet him there.
Have a good day!0 -
Good morning everyone,
To all those going to Blackpool, have a lovely time, i wish i couldve come up, but never mind!!!!
Busy day today, 3 little ones, but should be finished by 5 so thats good, and so far the weather is sunny, so hoping to get them out in the garden later (that helps tire them out as well!!!) Have some dusting to do, and must remember to get the home made pizza bases out of the freezer for dinner tonight, but should be a nice day playing with the littlies.
Spent last night talking to my sister on MSN, and looking up Disney websites, made me all excited about our holiday (5 weeks tomorrow, 3 1/2 weeks for my sister!!!) and realised ive not got anything ready, so this weekend DD and me will be hitting the streets of Plymouth holiday shopping!!!! (DS is at his dads, another sore point at the moment, he is such an ar!e, because DD doesnt want to sleep over at his house, he wont take her!!!! no wonder she never wants to stay, she never sees him!!! sorry, rant over) so tonight going to make a list of what we need to get, as i hate doing it at the last minute.
Right, this isnt getting anything done, hope everyone has a lovely day, safe journeys to all those heading to Blackpool.
Take care xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx0 -
Good morning everyone!
Wasn't the weather gorgeous yesterday? Made me pine for a holiday in the sun
I dyed my hair the other day, but didn't do the highlights - so I'm sat here right now in a towel with highlights in may hair - remembering to wash them out at 8.06am :rotfl:
WM is on it's second load, 1st load on line dryingLast day at work so it's almost the weekend
DD is getting her brekkie, DH has already left for his last day at work, packed lunches are all made.
I hope everyone has a fantastic time at the meet this weekend - I'd have loved to come but it's my birthday weekend so I've other things planned.
BTW last night we had a curry using Pataks new sauces in a can (not very OS but they were only 50p each) - they were disgusting  A lesson learned - me thinks
Anyway better dash - byeeSquares knitted for my throw ~ 90 (yes!!! I have finally finished it :rotfl: )Squares made for my patchwork quilt ~ 80 (only the "actual" quilting to do now :rotfl:)0 -
Morning all.
Didn't sleep very well last night, and then I had some terrible dreams when I did. I feel like poo now and just want to go back to bed but I have to take the parents shopping again.
Love to all going on the meet, wish I was there with you. I'm absolutely gutted because I didn't think I could afford the train fare but I told DH that you were having the meet last night and he said he would quite happily have driven me up there or we would have found the money some how, never mind, maybe next time?
Snowy the stopping smoking starts on Monday. I have the kids around too much this week to even contemplate quittingI'm going to settle down with Allen Carr's book on Monday morning after the kids have gone to school and hopefully no more ciggies after that. I am definitely thinking of the goal ahead
Right must go, I have to pop into the garage and pay for dad's car before I head down to pick them up. I've never carried around a £1000 in cash before, it's very scary.Organised people are just too lazy to look for things

Morning
WOOHOO it's Blackpool day :j :j :j
Haven't packed yet so need to get up, have breakfast, have a shower, put some washing on the line (housemate says he'll get it in for me later) and sort out my weekend bagI was going to do it late last night but somebody started chatting to me on MSN (you know who you are!!) and by the time I finished that, I was nodding off...
Hmm, p'raps I should make some sandwiches for the car journey.
Folks, according to the BBC weather website it's going to rain tomorrow and Saturday, so bring a change of shoes and a brolly
moggins are you sure you might not still be able to change your mind and come?(P.S. I hate carrying lots of cash around too. I used to be treasurer of a performing society when I was at university and during show week I used to have to take over £1000 to the bank every morning in takings... Now I'm involved in charity collection at the Proms, also usually around £1000 a night, but luckily the Albert Hall let us deal with it through their cash office and it gets picked up by their Securicor van.)
PP - sorry you're feeling rough this morning
I'll try and get back on here again before JackieO comes to pick me up at 11 o'clock
