Good morning 'all

It's bloody freezing here. Just having my morning cuppa with 2 panandol. The joys of being a lassie. Dam just heard the bin man come around. Forgot to put it out. :mad: For the last 20 years he's come on a Tuesday morning, it's going to take me a while to remember the friday bit. It's only half full so it will be ok.

My closest shopping centre right opposite is ALDI. :jBeen there twice now. It's not too bad but you can't really do the whole shop there which is a bit of a nuisance. They don't stock everything. Well here they don't. I'm so jealous of you all catching up on the meet. I would love to meet up with you all. Maybe next time. You all are so nice for Poms :rotfl:Just pulling ya leg. An aldi in Bexleyheath :D:D:D They already have a Poundland, a Primark, a Savers and a Wilkinsons there. I'm going to be in Old Style Heaven My brain remembers an Alladins Cave but I can't recall where? Yes I do it used to be called Fads a DIY store. I keep meaning to go to the one in Thamesmead but its...well...Thamesmead.

This week I am mostly having the flu. I ignored the symptoms because I thought it was the start of my hayfever but its never this bad. I was tempted to go to the farmers market today but couldn't get out of bed. I might have to drive to a farm to get some local honey on sat if I'm feeling better.

Glad to know the mini meets went well.

Very excited cos its meet day!! and the weather is looking really good - although been a northerner i would say lets just plan for rain and you never know it might be sunny!! Really looking forward to meeting up with old and new friends today.
Do have to do some work before I meet squeaky at the train station then on to Blackpool for fish and chips ( and maybe a wee glass of vino:D )

I will be selling the photos for a very reasonable price on the "Shop dont drop" board next week so look out for your favourite people wearing silly hats and sinking blue WKD..................or just talking and knitting we will see how it goes:j

Morning everyone!

It's Friday whoopee! Just have to grit my teeth until 5.00pm and it'll be the weekend.

I hope everyone is as well and as happy as can be today.

It's the Old Style meet weekend...oh I am missing out. I don't live THAT far from Blackpool, but there is just the not insignificant detail of the Irish Sea stopping me from joining in...plus the dreaded exams on the horizon. I will be thinking of you all having a fantastic time in Blackpool, and fingers Xed I'll be joining you next time. Safe journey to everyone who has a long (or short) way to travel, I can't wait to see the photos and hear all the news.

Elona, hope there things are improving for your dad. I also hope you get your journey to the hospital sorted out so that it's easier for you.

Ancasta - I'm green with envy thinking of you and your 6lbs weight loss in one week. You must be a diet and exercise angel and undoubtedly deserve your success.

Moggins - how's the stopping the weed coming on? I know it's hard (used to be a 20 a day gal for many years) but it does get easier - well you mightn't be finding it hard considering the prize you're going to get for keeping off them, but best of luck with it all the same

Nelski - please tell Squeaky I said "hello" and "how are ya!?" - I'm glad he's going, after all the work he put into this board the very least he deserves is a night out with his fans. Gosh, it's going to be Squeaky and how many women...????

Firstly, I would like to wish all you lot going to the meet this weekend a FABULOUS time and feel so bad that I cant come:o maybe next time??? Cant wait to see the pictures:rotfl:

Not feeling too good this morning, everything hurts and cant move very well:rolleyes:

OH loaded the WM last night, so Ove just put that on and makes me feeli like ive done something today. That will be hung outside after and as its bed linen change today, the WM will be on at least another 2 times:eek: Have the cleaner here today, so not much else to do.

Have to make a couple of follow up calls this morning, update accounts and send stuff back to Barclays to receive our £50 cashback:D

DD is back to school and OH will be doing more clearing of his office.

Anyway, Im off to take some pain killers. Have a great day all. Hugs

My sewing machine was delivered yesterday but unfortunatley no-one was home so in going to collect it now! So I have to dash!

I too have to grit my teeth till 5pm then I have a weekend! Yippee!

I hope you all have a great time this weekend, I wish I could be there but unfortunately I too have an exam looming which I must revise for. Ill be thinking of you all as I try my new machine out though!
