    Hello,

Have a great time whoever is going to Blackpool. Come back with lots of pics and stories to tell. This is just a quick post for me tonight as I'm pretty stuffed. DH & I are off for a weekend away. Got some cheap flights. They were having a sale. :jWe are off to visit our 2 DS. Rang them tonight to tell them of our *surprise* so I can imagine instead of hitting the town tonight they will be madly cleaning the house for me to pass inspection. :D We are coming back Sunday. But two days is better than none. Will catch up with you all again on Monday. Have a great weekend everyone.
Don't worry about the world coming to an end today. It's already tomorrow in Australia. ;)

Hiya to anyone who's left behind! I'm deeply envious of all the folk going to Blackpool. Hope they'll look after Squeaky.

Although the forecast was fro rain it is actually a lovely day here and the washing is drying nicely in the warm breeze.

Lillibet Sorry you've got the dreadful cold that seems to be doing the rounds. I had it a couple of weeks ago and OH caught it off me (although it had mutated into terminal man 'flu by then!). Hope you feel better soon.

    PHEW WHAT A SCORCHER!

Lovely day here in the emids but they have forcast rain all weekend here so the garden is crammed with airers getting loads of washing dry while I can. The house is clean and tidy and all my paid2clicks are done and I've been able to put a few claims for payment in so watch out Aldi next week, Daddys coming home! LOL

A nice quiet weekend here in the emids planned. We've cancelled the MATHLETTS early Saturday morning gymnastics classes because we can't afford them which means we can all have a lie in for a change YAY! Maybe a bit of pottering in the gardens (which are looking miighty fine BTW and a stroll into the village). My Mum is having the MATHLETTS after church on Sunday and Mrs MATH and I are going out for lunch as it is our wedding anniversary. We havn't bought Christmas/anniversary/valentine gifts for each other for years and have been on diets all this year so we deserve an all you can eat chinese buffet. One of the local restaurants has a super cheap deal and I can pay with vouchers earned paid2clicking so it shouldn't break the bank.

Moggins All the best for giving up. I was a very heavy smoker for more than half my life, I used to light up before I got out of bed in the morning and stubbed one out as I set the alarm and turned off the light. I smoked a good 30 a day (in halfs) and couldn't comfortably go more than 30 mins without lighting up and I have been a non smoker for ...counting...17 months. I read Alan Carr and although I agreed with almost all he says I couldn't get into the mindset and went cold turkey. Do whatever works for you but stick with it. Mrs MATH also managed to give up but we decided not to do it together because we didn't think the marriage would take it LOL. We are now visiting MIL as she undergoes a horrid series of operations for smoking related cancers and this as well as our current finances makes me so greatful that we were able to quit when we did. I would hate the MATHLETTS to have to watch me go through what MIL is doing now. They are soooo pround of Mrs MATH and me for staying 'clean'. PM if you ever need to chick.

Hope all you OS'rs are having a good day

    Good afternoon everyone

Probably too late but I hope everyone going to the meet has a fab time. Can't wait to hear about it! I am so jealous as I havn't been to Blackpool for years and nearly talked hubby into going in September when we have a few days off work but we decided to go to Majorca instead - no difference

Been a bit of a mad day so far. Hubby managed to get caustic soda on his foot this morning. Somehow didn't realise at the time but three hours later phoned me to pick him up at work as it was burning his toe
I brought him home and put his foot in a bowl of cold water which took the burning out. His mum wanted me to take him to the hospital but I had a doctors appt. that I had been waiting on for 2 weeks so we just waited to see how it was. Whilst I was at the docs I asked her advice and she said just best thing to do just cover it up and make sure it doesn't get infected.

After the docs I had to go and get road tax for the car. Kinda forgot it ran out at end of April. Anyway since I got the renewal in the price had gone up because of the budget but I hadn't realised and just filled out the cheque for the old price. Oh my god you would have thought I had commited murder the way the woman at the post office was carrying on.

Hubby has been packed off now to play his Playstation as he was doing my head in just sitting around channel hopping on the telly. During the day when I am in the telly is never on coz its normally just rubbish thats on.

Sun is shining this morning and house is really warm. Having a break just now from the housework as I am knackered coz of the heat!!

Gonna go and look for something to eat as I am starving!

Have a great day folks :D

    Hi everyone!
Hope you have a fine old time in Blackpool!
Have done two loads of washing today and stripped the beds. It'll be a quick whizz round Tesco after work and then egg and chips for tea as shall be on my knees by then. Shall need to invest in a bottle of cider as OH and I have been together for 16 years today [not married that long!!]
    Have a fab weekend

    Afternoon Guys

2 washloads on line and the 3rd just about to finish. Weather forecast not good for the weekend so thought it could be done today whilst weather is windy and warm:D

Cleaner still here but upstairs and nearly done. House looks lovely and smells clean and fresh. Im kind of addicted to Flash Ocean-I fill sink daily with very hot water and flash and sit and sniff it on a cloth for ages:o Think OH is worrying abit..LOL:rotfl: but cant help it:p

Still not feeling too good but havent done much today so cant moan.

    Anyway, got to go.
    Hugs
