Bet there are a few hangovers in Blackpool this morning:rolleyes:

Not doing a lot today my other half is off to watch Crystal Palace FC he will be leaving soon as it's early kick off and no doubt it will be busy there.

Laminate flooring never got laid yesterday:mad: Should be Tuesday now if the man who is laying it keeps his promise.

I am starving so I'm gonna go and raid the cupboards.

    Have fun

:hello: Gooooooood Morning fellow OS'ers :hello:

VickyA - Enjoy your pampering day with your 2 SILs-2-B :D:D

Cat - enjoy your girlie weekend with DD :D

Jo - :j :j Delighted your SM has finally arrived - I just know you will have fun with it! Try not to get discouraged if your bobbin thread tangles - it's all in the tension and even though the instruction book may *look* like double dutch, it will become clearer as you familiarise yourself with your machine and it's quirks (I'm convinced every SM has it's own personality :o )

Blackpool OS'ers ...   Hoping you are all having a FUNtastic time :D:D: D

Think I'm stuck in some sort of Groundhog Day meets the Time Machine here in Queenie-Land ... every time I try and get stuck into something I end up sidetracked or thwarted and it's a case of two steps forward, one step back the past few days!!

    On my To-Do List:-
    * iron my jeans (got them mucky through some sponteous-forgot-to-change gardening yesterday evening :o )
    * put on SC so I don't have to worry about food later today
    * make beds
    * have bath
    * test yogurt (trying out yogurt maker, finally gave in and bought one with pin money)
    * hand stitch some minor uniform repairs

Most of the day will be out and about - taking boys and their friends out for bulk of day.

Just enjoying a "Boaters" hazelnut coffee (a rare treat) before the lads descend and burst my tranquility bubble ;):D

    B: Fruit smoothies
L: Chicken wraps on the move
D: Something from the SC  which will be decided in the next half hour or so :o

I'm sure I heard that we are forecast rain for much of the weekend so I need to bear that in mind while I organise myself.

Have a wonderful day everyone

PS: Thank you for the bill reminders the other day - all done :T

    Morning all :hello:

PP - sorry to hear that you had a bad night again.

I had a poorly stomach last night. Well, it hurt and was very uncomfortable. :(

Well, I can't wait for my pamper day! My first treatment is at 10am with a facial. Mmmmmmm, by the end of the week I'll be all spotty because of the impurities will have been drawn out. :D In the meantime, OH will be going to watch the rugby with his dad and coming back to pick me up to take me up to sunny Lincolnshire.

    Take care all

Funny you should say that!! I had something very similar on Thursday, quite unpleasant too. No other 'signs' of tummy bug or anything, quite weird. I can empathise. Hope it's much better now ((hugs))

    Morning all

I've just sat out in the garden for half and hour having coffee and smoking one of my final weekend ciggies. It's strange, although I am still smoking I feel more committed to giving up than I have ever done. I really think I can do it this time.

The knee feels better than I would have imagined this morning, it just stings a bit when the dressing pulls, luckily only two people saw me do it :D

DH was very late to bed last night so I don't know what time he is getting up and I have loads to do today. I have to head into town and sort out dad's insurance and then pop round to pay for my chicken house, I did want to head round to a local farm shop/garden centre to pick up some tomato plants and my seeds have done absolute nothing but we will have to see how the day goes.

Hugs to everyone whether you need them or not.

Queenie I hope you enjoyed your Boaters. I have hazlenut syrup which I bought from Waitrose (one of the few things I go in there for) and also managed to pick up real coffee beans from Lidl yesterday so here goes :D

Is'nt it quiet without all that rabble that have gone to Blackpool...hope they're all having fun.

Very excited here this morning as all my seeds took off over night and it's like day of the triffids here today - how do runnerbeans grow so much in one night???? Noticed that my potatoes had started well yesterday, green shoots just appearing through the soil - first time I've grown anything other than cress seeds...:rotfl:

It's a bit overcast here this morning but loads to do, DH needs to cut the grass, back and front, a tree needs lopping a bit as it's overhanging the path, all the patio furniture needs a scrub (will get DD's to that for some pocket money), need to pop to Lidl to do the shop, make something nice for tea and get in a walk along the beach - I'm in need of some fresh sea air today....might even need to have a paddle.

    B - Toast
    L - Ham salad wraps
D - Sausage cassarole with rice

Hope you all have a wonderful day.

    Morning All:hello:

Wonder if the Blackpool meet has turned into an OS hangover remedy convention this morning:huh::grin::shocked:

Hope you aren't feeling too bad considering teh lack of sleep PP?

Well, despite hubby not working this weekend he still has to pop in as it's the start of national spider week:eek: (he's an ecologist at a country park) so he will drop Spud & I off in town so that I can do a few chores. Then a brisk 3 mile walk home for a heap of ironng this afternoon. I don't usually iron anything other than best wear, but a friend gave me 2 bin bags full of outgrown clothes for Spud:D, most of them will be to big for a couple of years so will iron before storing in this case.

Have regretfully cancelled my organic box delivery scheme, produce & customer service were excelelnt but too much of the stuff we don't like & not enough of the stuff we do like so our diet was suffering as a result, not getting anywhere near 5 a day as can't afford to supplement the box. Would be fine if we liked absoutly everything but we just don't. So on the look out for a local organic farm shop or the like but can't find anything:mad: and I really don't want to revert to bland overpriced supermarket produce.

B : Toast & marmite (cos I've still got my cold & can't taste anythign else!)
    L : Who knows!
D : Prawn curry thanks to storecupboard challange:D

    Have a good day everyone:wave:
