morning

got a surprise day off work. on one hand its lovely, on the other, I could do with the money...........oh well.

so now have to decide what to do - as the house is a tip i think thats where i should start. then going to go into town and get a few bits that i need. Must remember to buy milk.

Morning all,

Back from Oxford and spent far to much money.

I did get a lovely DKNY leather handbag and matching purse. I also got 2 Ralph Lauren tops and a lovely skirt and top from Monsson. DH also got 3 Ralph Lauren tops, 3 pairs Levis, and a CK top.
DD got a pair of Clarks trainers and a lovely nighty from the White Company.
DS got a pair of reebok trainers and a pair of Ralph Lauren Jeans.

I am off the the Paradise park today I just hope the weather holds out.

WM is on and nearly finished. DD is getting ready as we speak. I need to go and have a shower.

Good morning

Had a busy weekend, so no idea what you lot got up to, as I haven't been on here at all!

Yesterday was lovely, we went to a garden party in Norfolk - nice & sunny most of the time, say in the garden, ate lots of good food, went for a lovely country walk... came home to find everything wet - it had obviously rained quite heavily here. Glad we weren't here!

I have got 2 lots of washing to go out this morning, but the sky is a bit cloudy so not sure if the sunshine will last. D/w needs emptying, but the house doesn't look too bad at the mo.
We have a home ed. group this afternoon, but DS is still in bed at present, so I'm not going to wake him up - we generally keep to school holidays to a certain extent, and I can have some peace & quiet this morning!

Morning all. School hols, so got a lie-in until 8.30 - almost unheard of. WM is going on in a mo, and there's one lot from yesterday to dry, looks like the clothes maid will be in action again cos it's looking dodgy weather-wise.
DD's school friend and her brother coming over later, so 4 kids in the house today, I think DH has the best deal by going to work!
At work myself at 4.30pm for a rest.

Congratulations Rchddap1 on your excellent news!!!!

Well, just back from my hospital appointment, and the good news is that all the children i took with me behaved really well, although the little one did keep singing 'theres a worm called Wiggely Woo' all through my discussion with my consultant!!!! Unfortunatly the bad news is that although my levels are ok to go on holiday, they arnt good enough to go on the rides whilst we are over there, and as its just me and my 2 going, it will mean that if i cant go on a ride, the children cant either (at 8 and 9 they are too young to go on their own). He has given me a script for steroids to use whilst im over there, but has said its to be used in case of bleeding or bruising, not so i can go on fast rides. Luckily, as its Disney we are going to, there is still loads we can do, but it has left me feeling really down now, when you spend so much on a holiday, in money and time planning it, you want to go and experience it all, but never mind, my health has to come first.
Never mind, moan over, i know i will feel fine about it all later its just it gets so frustrating having a condition that cant be seen or felt, but could have a devestating effect if something went wrong.
Anyway, better finish emptying the DW and get the BM on, might make myself a banana and strawberry smoothie whilst im in the kitchen!!! (that or finish the bar of glaxey thats in the fridge!!!!)

just a quickie from me as I'm about to leave for work and wont be back until 5.30 tomorrow!:eek: gotta do a sleep-in.
Kids just about to get up as its half term(typical teenagers!) but I've left them a nice list of jobs to do:D

Hello everybody,

It's freezing here atm. Well our household is now back to normal. DGS & ex DIL left this morning. I"m missing him already. I am having a me day tomorrow. I have the house to myself, so as well as catching up with a few chores I"m going to chill out.

I haven't read the threads for a few days so I hope everyone is well. I bought some fish for tea tonight and when I unwrapped it, it was sticky and off. DD is taking it back tomorrow when she goes in to get a refund. So ended up with Spag Bolg but I made golden syrup dumplings to make up for it.

Have a nice day. I'm off to have a hot shower to warm up and watch BB.:o
