Morning Catowen and SOMO1 and everybody else.
Up quite early for the holidays but wanted to be up earlier - never mind.
Just about to jump in the shower OH at work and kids still in bed - bliss.
Weather looks lovely - at last but we are having a day at home today as its the day I do most of the office work, also have an ironing mountain so hope to get quite a few bits done so can enjoy the rest of the week with the kids.
Have got to pop into town later to go to the bank and the library but thats about it. Also will find sometime to take the dog for a long walk either along the sea wall or over the park.
Havent made up my mind about dinner yet - will have a look at my freezer list but think will be chilli, with rice and pitta bread. Made a lovely dinner last night - grilled pork loin chops with cheese and bacon mash and roasted veg. Everyone loved it which is unusual and oh actually ate the yellow pepper - normally he picks it out! Will deffo put that on my menu planner.
Off now - have a great day.0 -
MORNING ALL :hello:
Up early today for me considering it's half term. Woke up at 6.30 intime to kick OH out of bed as he was supposed to be up at 6  We have done so much travelling over the weekend everyone here is worn out. On Saturday we drove up to Barrow (IL's house to pick up SIL) and then on to a campsite in Pattersdale to drop of DD and SIL with IL's who were already there camping. Then OH and I drove back to Liverpool  Sunday was spent gardening and doing a big shop (£88 for the month excluding weekly fresh stuff, but including about £8 on gifts :shhh: ) then we went to see G4 concert _party__party__party_ :j:j Unfortunately I got sick during Sunday (flu like symptoms) so I didn't enjoy the concert as much as I could have done but thats life  Yesterday we drove back up to Barrow to pick DD up (Aunty-IL brought them back to Barrow to save us the trip) and now the livingroom looks a right state with laundry all over the place. In fact the whole house looks a mess so guess what my plans are for today :wall:
Right better get off here and get breakfasts as I have lots to do today :wave:Creeping back in for accountability after falling off the wagon in 2016.Need to get back to old style in modern ways, watching the pennies and getting stuff done!0 -
Morning Guys
Slept quite badly last night, but went back to bed for another half hour when i got up this morning:o
WM is on, DW needs emptying and toilet cleaned. House still clean and tidy from last week:D
Had a nice evening round SIL's yesterday and we still had a BBQ, but in the oven as it was raining. DD finally arrived at 6'ish and was totally knackered from the days happenings.
Had a letter from Hospital saying my iron infusions start Friday:eek:....really not looking forward to these and having to travel to london for them:mad:
OH & DD are going to watch X-Men 3 today, then popping to Makros after for some of their Non-bio wash powder as DD's skin has really flared up badly so need to switch back for a while. I think its hormone and stress related ATM.
Breakie:Tea and Toast
Lunch:Baked Spud, ham and salad
Dinner:Shepards Pie and veg
Anyway, Id best go. Hugs to all.

Morning everyone.
I'm just having a quick run through this morning. Just been doing my internet bits. Found that my credit card payment (now a week late) has just gone out today. Just as i was psyching myself up for a row at the bank as well. think i will still say something. I've got a dr's appointment at 9, so i am just finishing my cuppa, and then i'll get myself organised to leave.
I'll have to pop into the bank to pay in a cheque, but then a day around the house for me. I think i'm going to break my marking up into blocks of 10, and then it's not quite as daunting. 10,then a housework job. If i stick my madonna CD on as well, that normally gets me going at a great pace.
Hope you have all got the sunshine that i have today. should make catching up with the washing less like hard work.
See you all later.

Hi all
Half term here, woo hoo, so no work today. I thought I'd post as I don't get time when I'm working. WM is on for the second time, first lot is on the rads as the weather is a bit unsettled here. Helped hubby at work on Saturday & Monday, went to a local craft fair on Sunday bought a jar of red onion marmalade, very yummy. Didn't buy anything else though, I tend to walk round saying 'I could make that'. I'm going to try soap making during the summer holidays. I was hoping to have a go this week, but today is my only day off as we are having new office equipment fitted tomorrow and I have to make sure everything is working ready for next week. I'm going to Asda in a while & try to get everthing I need for the next month. I usually forget someting, lol.
Hope everyone has a good day.

Morning all.
Working from home today as I feel terrible. I think I've got a cold coming....and that coupled with my pregnancy (which you lot have just found out about) is making me feel like death.
Haven't been able to say anything before about 'bean' as some important people read this site who didn't know....but the secret's out now.
So its going to be a quiet day today and with luck I'll be back on form tomorrow. Tesco delivery later this evening and tea will come from that depending on what I feel like at the time.Baby Year 1: Oh dear...on the move
Lily contracted Strep B Meningitis Dec 2006  Now seemingly a normal little monster.
Love to my two angels that I will never forget.0
