Morning everyone
Bargain Rzl - Sounds like a good night. Can't wait for the photos to put more faces to names
Well although its a bank holiday and I work for a bank I am working today
Extra pay and holiday later on so can't complain too much.
Still have an extremely sore back so haven't done much all weekend. Was going to go and see the Da Vinci Code on Saturday but cinema seats are not the most comfortable so that will have to wait. Got the Johnny Cash movie Walk the Line and watched that at home. Meant I could get up and walk round the room every so often - difficult to do at the cinema.
It was my friends daughter's fifth birthday party yesterday. Had some presents in the present box for it. Total retail price £12. Total paid £4! What a bargain. Didn't stay for too long. I think the clown was too much for me
Dinner for tonight is chicken (already cooked), parsnips, carrots, sweet potato and roast potatoes (all chopped).
Well must go and get ready
Have a great Bank Holiday folks whatever your plans are0 -

Not sure for dinner today - meal plan seems to have gone up the wall at the mo, maybe will get some pork chops from the butchers.
Probably not going to do much at home even though have an ironing mountain and loads of paperwork, will have to work twice as hard tomm.
Anyway will get off but will come back later and check out Bargains photo's.

Good morning everyone,
Lovely day outside at the moment, so WM on with some bedding, i love to get it dry outside, always smells lovely when it goes back on the bed!!! I actually have the day off today, so have only just gotton up, which is lovely. Mind you back to the grindstone tomorrow, although its half term, still have to be up early as the first one comes at 7,30!!!!
Not many plans for today, a friend let DD have some cinema vouchers for her birthday, so thinking about using them today and going to see Xmen, or something like that. I think there are some more children friendly films about for the half term, but not sure what they are, so will check the cinemas website in a bit, to see what we can see!!!
Well, need to have a shower and get dressed i suppose, and get DS and DD to get dressed too, its nice not to be rushing!!!

Morning everyone :hello:
Bargain Rzl - sounds like you had a lovely time!
PP - have a good day!
smokey - sounds like a good day out!
skystar - can you not sit on the back row? Then you can stand up when you like, still see the film, be comfortable and not disturb anyone else? Alternatively, just wait until it comes out on DVD and save yourself some pennies?
It's looking really miserable here today. We're going up to my parents' house today so that we can have a couple of days rest and relaxation! I'm on half term and OH is on holiday as he had some days left over.
I've got my hair trial tomorrow for our wedding. Don't think that OH needs a hair trialWe're also meeting the photographer tomorrow night. He's coming to check out the house, garden and church to decide on "shots".
I'll let you all get on with your peaceful days.

she did manage to speak to me yesterday but only because I made the first move and it was very strained. Just have to give her time to come round I suppose, although as usual its always me who has to come running:mad:
Just had a nasty shower here and am off to a carboot now so will catch up later
xxDo what you love :happyhear0 -
Morning everyone.
well it's lovely again here today so i suppose i should make the effort and try to get more clothes on the line.
My plans for the day -
1) SAT marking, i worked out i need to do 60 papers a day  to try and get it done before the end of half term, and then i will not have it hanging over me when i have to go back to work.
2) visit my parents. They are redecorating, and i still have a few boxes of things at their house that they want me to pick up. I have been putting it off for about a month until DH was off work and we can go get them. I also have a game thingy off ebay for my brother, and he is deperate for it.
3) clean the kitchen sink. Where does all the gunk come from??
4) wash my hair
5) cook a nice HM chicken curry in the slow cooker for this evening, which reminds me - get chicken out of freezer. That is more than enough to get on with.
DH also wants to go and see the da vinci code, so i suppose i need to get my backside into gear if all that is getting done today. Very wishful thinking.
Smokey - sorry about your friends loss.
PP - enjoy the time alone with DH - doesn't happen all the time does it.
BRZL - can't wait to see the photos. Sounds like you all had a good laugh.

Morning All
Sounds like everyone everyone that met in London last night had a fab time.
PP. Have a fun at SIL, I'm jealous that its nice enough weather to have a bbq its chucking it down here.
Skystar. From what I've heard you didnt miss much with the Davinci code I'm waiting till it comes out on dvd.
Essex-girl. Have fun at the market, might get dh to make me a bacon butty now as reading your post made my mouth water.
Smokey. Have a nice day out, what a bargin.
Catowen. Enjoy your day without any extra little people.
VickyA. Enjoy your pampering tomorrow when you get your hair done, this was my favourite bit of planign our wedding when everything started coming together.
Taplady. Take if from somebody who hasnt got one, mums are to presious to fall out with, so it doesnt really matter who makes the first move.
I've properly cross posted with someone so hugs if you need them and everyone have a good day.
My plan for the day is, put everything back in our bedroom thats been piled in dd room since dh started our decorating at easter. Cant complain really as his appendix bursting in the middle of decorating put back the process some what. Then I need to get everything ready for the week ahead including two lots of hm ready meals for Tues/Wed evening as I know I'll be working late.
WM just finished and the nappies can go in next unfortunately they'll have to go into the dryer as its still raining here.
Have a good BH everyoneSorting my life out one day at a time0
