    Hello everyone :hello:

PP - so glad that your new tablets seem to be working :j :j

Snowy - glad that your exam went well yesterday.

Bargain Rzl - it still sounds far too exhausting to me!

I'm back home from work and got a couple of jobs to do around the house before I settle down to do some marking............. joy! I've got to take the washing out of the machine, put in another load - all this with it raining outside!

OH has found that there's a comedy night on tomorrow locally, so I've got to get myself sorted for TWO days  I normally survived on a day to day basis!

I got a Book People catalogue through the post today, so I need to have a look through that to see if there's anything suitable for presents :D

Oh well, I'd better go and do something before I get stuck to the sofa and MSE all evening (though I will pop on later!).

    Evening All

Not done much os today as went to see my Nan in London and had to run a few errands on way back. Journey there and back was good - hardly any traffic but after spending an hour shouting at her (her hearing aid is kaput at the mo) had a big headache.

So thats my good deed for the day done. Just had organic mutton chops for tea that I did in the slow cooker and they were delish so will need to make another trip to the Farmers Market to get some more, dont think Ive ever had mutton before.

No housework done today - will be there tomm. Also big tesco shop coming in the morning and DS will have a friend over for tea - its very quiet here without DD - hopefully she is having a brill time.

PP - Glad you had a good nights sleep
R Mac - I too am thinking about selling on ebay - when I get time I will look around the ebay forum for tips - it sounds like it should be easy.
Bargainrzl - I am envious of your lifestyle - however one late night a week nowdays for me means i suffer (and those around me) for a least 5 days!
Math - Bon-eh. I belive you, thousands wouldnt.

(((Hugs))) for those that need them, and I hope you all have a lovely evening.

Evening everyone. Nice to see the sun has made you all a bit chirpier.

Glad to hear that PP had a good nights sleep and that elona's dad is feeling brighter.

Well the inspection is over. I managed to not get seen. I was gutted as the guy came in my room at the start of lesson 2, just as i had waved goodbye to my lovely y7s who had been wonderful and had a very good lesson. Then i had free lessons for the rest of the day, so i sat very peacefully in my room and got on with loads of marking. Still have some to do tonight as it is never ending. I love this time of year as school goes quiet as year eleven, twelve and thirteen all have exams.

Will have an easy-ish day tomorrow as i have a councelling appointment. I deliberately made it later so i can come home from work early and then not have to go back, therefore saving some petrol.

Plan for tonight is to mark the last 12 books in the set, plan 2 lessons for tomorrow, and then bed. I am absolutely shattered. DH had to kick me out of bed this morning. Dh is about to sort out tea. I want to see if i can get all done in the next hour, so i'm going to go now, and then hopefully have more OS to report tomorrow when my energy levels should return.

    Hugs to everyone.
    Michelle, xx

Got back from hospital but dad not pleased that we stayed for just under an hour - tried to explain our 12 year old needed to get home by eight thirty to have shower and wash and dry her hair and get ready for school in the morning but he was not very impressed.

Put my back out a couple of days ago and I keep thinking it is better then move suddenly and emit yelping sound!

May have really early night and leave his bags of washing till the morning. He was also not impressed with the holdall we gave him - but tough!

I hate to say this but may have to take DH's advice and not go tomorrow as I find the constant disparagement is hard to take - hope a good nights sleep will help.

    Big hug to everyone.

    Hello all!

    Aren’t I cheeky, starting today’s thread so early? :D

Ok then catzine, taplady, catowen (yep went to Liskeard), LearningToSave sing all together now :cheesy: ‘Trago Mills have a great deal happening, get on down to Trago Mills’ – that’s the advert they used to play on local radio down here. It’s a very OS shop, but I was good and spent NO money. However I have fallen in love with a four poster, solid wood, gothic style bed at the cost of…..£1000!! That is without a mattress! Oh no, now I know why I don’t go shopping (expensive taste). Not very OS at all  .

I went with my friend from work who is also off sick due to a knee operation. You can imagine the picture now, me walking around with an arm in bandage, her on crutches. We had to keep stopping so I could rest my good(ish) arm carrying her shopping basket and to rest her arms. The fun bit was when we arrived at the restaurant and realised we couldn’t carry the food tray :rotfl: . In the end I figured I could balance it on my left arm, not my wrist. It was ok in the end, but we were exhausted after 1 hour shopping and 1 hour eating! I guess the body is healing.

Mm, so why am I up now? Had some freelance work sent my way and deadlines to meet! Hand bl**dy* hurts now, own fault I suppose.

    Shez – I might be tempted with a mini-meet, though I am rather shy :o .

Chickadee – how did the ECDL go? I completed my level 2 recently and am soon to start on my Level 3. I’ve signed up, but haven’t had the time to look at it recently. Fancy joining me and Shez in our healthy eating/exercise challenge? I say we, but Shez has been doing all the hard work :D

Can’t remember who asked, but London cheap eateries I remember are Sofra (Covent Garden, Oxford Street), Wagamamas, Pizza Express (can’t go wrong really) and er..mind has gone blank! Where will you be and what type of food do you like?

Hello Mr Math. Gosh you sound organised. I think I’ll have to read up on this Paid2Clicks sounds like a good way to make some pennies?

VickyA and ChazMichelle – how do you get all your work done? I’m in teaching, but FE/HE and thought I worked hard, but you sound like you do every evening! It must be exhausting, but you are brilliant for doing it :D

(((Hugs))) to PP and Elona and anyone else who needs them. Anyone heard from Jo? Hope she is ok as was suffering from a cold.

Right, my left arm really hurts now so time for bed. See you in the morning!

P.S. Just remembered - Estate Agent phoned at 1630, might be exchanging today!!! V. scared, all v. grownup. Fingers crossed for me please. Thanks!
