Hi Yall, a funny change-a-bout day in the emids. The sort of day you need an umbrella, gloves, wellies, sun hat and shades for a trip to the post office. LOL

    So far...

    Paid2clicks all done
    House tidy
    Washing dried and ironed
Chicken and leek pie made for tonight
    Curry resting for tomorrow
    Tomorrows lunches prepared
Mrs MATH's car tax collected and paid for

    To do...

Prepare figures for a Financial Summit at the w/end with Mrs MATH
    Do online banking
    Empty DW
Change books at library on the way to school

This weekend we are off to the coast for 10 days. Mrs MATH desperately needs to get away and SLEEP. LOL We are having to take both cars tho incase she is called back which is an expense we could do without

MIL is at home. Still a daily 30 mile round trip but better than suffering Leicesters one way systems and the paltry parking. We are hoping the skin grafts in her mouth have taken this time (second attempt) will know better after the weekend

Miss MATH has her cast off on Thursday morning (YAY) I will not have to shower, dress, do her hair, carry her school bags, cut up her food anymore (double YAY) She isn't too bothered about having it took off tho...With me doing all the donkey work I wonder why?

Was talking to someone up at school who is good friends with "BONNIE" from Big Brother fame or "BON-EH" as she keeps announcing. I am almost ashamed to admit to even this tenuous association. Please do not think we are all like this in the emids - she is not a good specimin, although she does have the same name as one of my mother's dogs so she can't be all bad. Can she?

Better get on. Have a good day

    Luv MATH x

Hooray, sunshine! However I did have both my sunglasses on & windscreen wipers going at the same time in the car this morning
got up early, dropped OH off at the station & toddled off for a couple of early site visits. Managed to make the second one Haydock so I could pop into Costco for a few bits. Did manage to resist the cafe & chocolate muffins, so v restrained! It would have been perfectly justified too - I had my blood sugar checked this morning & it was very low. Unfortunately there wasn't enough blood on the test strip to give a cholesterol reading as well.
Need to pop over to Boundary Mill this aft & return a pair of trousers to the M&S outlet shop. They are an identical second pair of trousers for my suit - exactly the same size so I didn't bother trying them on, but they don't fit  Maybe that's why they were at the outlet shop??
Haven't had time to read all the posts, so hugs to all, good to see you back MATH.

    Afternoon

Keeps raining and stopping, then sun out:confused:

SIL has been today and has done the blinds, floors, kitchen cupboard, DD's wardrobe and the ironing. She has taken some home with her as we were gassing too much and wanted to do it...funny woman!!

OH has been revising for tomorrows test and has cleaned the Gerbils outs. Washing was dried outside and DW is half loaded. He has also done the veg for dinner and prepared the lamb.

    ANyway, hugs to all.

    Hello

Back again after my lovely lunch out. Trouble was, this mate of mine was going to stand me lunch so I had the works - then she flippin' well couldn't pay for it cos the machine wasn't taking cards and she didn't have enough cash!! :( That'll teach me to have evil MSE friends, who manipulate me into thinking I'm going to get a free lunch!:naughty:  But then, as the saying goes..... :D

    Anyone seen Nels today?? :p

TM & Nels - I always knew that if I spent enough time on here I'd learn all the tricks about obtaining cheap stuff. But it seems I've got more than I bargained for...

    Afternoon all,

I have not read your posts i will leave that until tonight.

    Hope you are all well.

I have cleaned the 3 bathrooms, done 2 loads of washing and sorted out the cupboards in the kitchen.

I also listed a fridge freezer, cooker and rabbit hutch on freecycle last night and they are being picked up between thursday and the weekend.

Booked a couple of nights in a hotel in Oxford for over the bank holiday it will be nice to get away. We go to the same place every year over this holiday.

Need to go shopping might leave it until Friday DH has the day off so i will drag him out with me.

Better go DD needs dropping off at brownies.

    Catch you all laters

    Take care bye
